Chainmail of Drakkas - the uber-HoF version maybe?

My big complaint about armor is that the cloaks act as armor on your monks... grrrrr.

I am currently disctating this since I've both arms and my upper spine in a multi-peice cast following a couple surgeries. (note:I do NOT o...

I'm going apologize profusely to start out - I;m not going to be around for the next 8-10 weeks. If I had known, I wouldn't have started the thread. My regrets - unless someone else wants to take up the challenge. I refer you to the interplay forum under the scriptorium section. Great Tournement of ...

It is not Immy's sword thing. What it is: a contest between the competitor's characters using description for attack/defense/movement based on their character's class, items (weapons, armor, magical, useful), spell skills, etc. I don't have the time for a complete post right now. If you'll bear with...

asking re: Great Tournament

Anyone interesting in reviving this idea? If so, just reply overthe next week or so. I'm thinking 8 or so, stealing many of Not Important's ideas from the old I'play boards - I'll cut and paste them later if there's a response. I'm thinking that the characters should be the equivalent of levels 10-1...

snipped a whole lot of rules That's why I don't like 3E. Too much focus on rules. character optimisation and so forth. I much prefer a judiciously house-ruled 2nd Edition game (which is what I'm playing now). Good DM >> rules. I like 1st Ed. (of course, I also cut my teeth on Basic and Expert rules...

I didn't like the joinable NPCs of the BG series. ** ducks quickly to avoid rotten fruits and vegetables*** Personally, I found some of the BG series pretty cheesy - #1 who the heck leaves +5 sword and vorpal blades lying around? #2 time stop - while it makes for great PnP roleplaying, it makes for ...

Specialist mages - IWD

Conjurors, necromancers, and Evokers - everyone knows they can bomb with the best of them.

I'm looking for a few suggestions for diviners or transmuters spell choices.

Any suggestions?

I like the dual class stuff above. The only thing I would change is the thief character - start in thief and then change to a spell caster - druid or mage. IMO, more than 9 levels of thief is a waste and you don't need all that muscle from the FTRs - whereas another spellcaster (esp. if you load thi...

I start with 3 or 4 and tend to add as I go along, unless I'm trying a solo concept (currently trying a "no-kill" enchanter and not doing very well :D).

Well, my sense of honor is my own and I don't let other people's notiotns of what I should be expected to do or how to behave rule me. I will take their opinions and ideas into account, but the final decision about how I respond or act or react is my own and I am responsible for it. For me, honor is...
