Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Still watching Orphan Black and while I stand by my criticisms for season one, I admit I was too harsh on it (Sarah's not insufferable just VERY reactionary). 1/4 into season 4 and it is now officially my favorite show. Everything is tight with only one episode stumble (glares at the Tony episode), ...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Orphan Black and Longmire. I love them both but I think Longmire is overall the better show. Orphan Black is more my type of show but the entire season 1 is setup and Tatiana Maslany acting great but the fact the main clone is insufferable and her ex is only said to be abusive comes off as a whiny, ...

True and as for pagans being hardcore lefties those are the majority but Norse pagans are usually hardcore nazis at least in Scandinavia. Which have had issues when it comes to burning churches and such.

Re: Random news Roundup

I blame the elite and mainstream media along with religion. Had they not been a bunch of idiots, Trump would never been elected. The elite and mainstream media were the only pro-Clinton people. :eyebrow: As for religion, most people I know who voted for Trump and were religious didn't care for him ...

Re: What are you playing right now?

playing an old game called Civ 4 I freaking love it. Better than Cive 5 for the most part and slightly more nuanced than Civ 6. All three games deserve to exist though. Plus Civ 4's tech tree is a bit on the dumb side.

Re: Merry Christmas and happy holidays you all!

Sadly I didn't get it but I did get an awesome game called Ice School where you flick penguins to get Fish in a high school setting (get the title of the game now)?

Re: Merry Christmas and happy holidays you all!

Oh I endured withe my sister, something else happened though. My father died on Christmas, it was unsuspected to say the least. My family still can't believe it but I can since the guy had so many maladies and when he had his puppy he was concerned for his life. I didn't want him dead mind you I jus...

Re: Merry Christmas and happy holidays you all!

Thanks marcus same to you :) I just hope I can tolerate my PC SJW paranoid sister for once (and I am not just being a right wing nutjob on this she is VERY much a condescending ivory tower kind of person). But she makes every family meet up very uncomfortable since despite hating on the right that's...

Re: What are you playing right now?

I just played Discworld Ankh-Morpork with my sister and brother. Very nice game that actually didn't turn out to overstay it's welcome as I thought it would (sadly that's the fate of most of my heavier board games). Sadly since Pratchett is dead now the license is gone and due to the laws and licens...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Congrats as well to me :) you're luckier than me in that account (I don't want to get into details but my wedding fell through for the better) I watched Going Postal and I liked it although I have one major issue with it and one minor issue. Adora is insufferable as a female love interest, she's sup...

Re: Random news Roundup

I never new cultural genetics and inbreeding were a passion of yours. Should we ask why? ;) It's an interest of mine as well and honestly it's because I like monarchs in history (and John A MacDonald for you Canadians who married his cousin). And in the middle east it's not just cousin marriage but...

Re: Random news Roundup

I was unaware that inbreeding was that high there. Arranged marriages, forced for that matter, we all know about but I didn't know about inbreeding. I know they're probably not up on European history but even if they haven't heard of the Hapsburg family surely they're seen the British "royalty". An...
