Re: first hand at 4th edition

Just read this, I'd be interested in hearing what healing surges are. I haven't really looked at 4E, but what I've seen made it look more cartoonish/ over the top than even 3.5, would you agree with that?

Re: The Qui'Hamor Online Campaign Discussion Thread

Ya know, I really like that Runey is rping without waiting for DM posts from dousi. Creates some character interaction, keeps a flow going, etc, etc. That was my intention. They left a trail? Well thas jus stupid. Pausing, licking his lips, he is silent for a moment. I've heard about undead sometimes. Nut lately though. I whack people, they usually stay dead. He chuckles... well, snorts. No vampers either. I can't be sure there though. We get all kinds of people round...

B) I just watched her physically abuse her child in the store by picking him up and slamming his butt down on the counter to control him. Remember, spanking is illegal in Canada so slamming the kid's ass down on a counter is pretty much the same thing. don't be that guy It seems pretty clear she's ...

Re: Digital distribution in the perspective of a "Noob" history

There be no ruins to crawl around for Archeologists in the end and so on. Already now, archaeologists are crawling around in the ruins of World War II. Kilometers worth of roads were tunneled under Berlin by the Nazis, complete with bunkers etc. These sections are closed to the public but investiga...

Re: Digital distribution in the perspective of a "Noob" history

The material is analyzed (using natural science, psychology, economics etc.), sources compared, and everything put into perspective. That's wha...

Re: Digital distribution in the perspective of a "Noob" history

I always thought that in the future, historians will be pretty much a dead occupation but then I never considered that things disappear online. nop. If at all, the profession will thrive due to all the sources available to historians in the future. The better documentation also means historians wil...
