The second and third Matrix movies were okay, but far from the brilliance of the original. I still wanted them all and went for the Ultimate Matrix Collection. I doubt I'll care for Animatrix when I get around to finally watch it (have had the collection for a year or so soon...)

Although, I would say the only thing worth watching in Animatrix is Pamela Segal. What a waste of good looks that she normally only does voice acting :( I haven't watched Animatrix. It was part of the Ultimate Matrix Collection. The same with Godfather, all three films in one large package. Same wi...

I think I did post a list a long time ago, but here's an updated one (in alpha-chronological order): King Kong (1933) Gone with the Wind (1939) Spartacus (1960) West Side Story (1961) The Great Escape (1963) Operatsiya Y i drugiye priklyucheniya Shurika (1965) Per qualche dollaro in più (1965) 2001:...

Well, there's even a longer version of Das Boot (my DVD states it's 200 minutes long, it's the director's cut), namely the miniserie version which should be almost 300 minutes. I haven't seen it though.

I hated Izo. I haven't seen too many of Miike's films but so far I've only liked Koroshiya 1 (2001) and Ôdishon (1999). Both recommended for sick bastards...

Watched 80 minutes of Das Boot (the 200 minutes director's cut) yesterday night. My wife started to fall asleep so we decided to watch the other half the next day (well, today).

In Scorsese's film Christ only saw a "vision", an alternative to what could happen if he didn't follow the right path, none of it really happened as I understand it, thus the title.

HOFD was an Ok movie, I guess I really liked it. Sufficiently different from most of the other movies I've seen for a long time to be interesting. Hero was too "artsy" (or just plain weird) for me. Too much repetition of events seen from different angles, not to mention more ballet than fight scene...

Winterhawk.
A brilliant 70's space/psychedelic hard rock band with some early Rush-like vibes.
