It may have been a joke, though. Still, a 386 is a perfectly usable computer for writing design documents and sending e-mail. I dunno... I have a feeling your average nail would rust faster than MS Office would run on a 386. Even so it wouldn't be fast enough for a designer as they do a lot more th...

I do remember there was an old K7 system lurking around.

I remember that at one point Dave Maldonado was working on a 386, that really shows how BIS lacked support and funding by the time Fergus left. Maybe when he first started at Interplay he had a 386, but when I left BIS in late '01 there were no such machines in the dept. that I knew of. I don't kno...

1024x768? What are those archaic numbers? :) 1400x1050 is more like it... Real men use 1600x1200 I guess I'm not a real man then... *hangs head in shame* My computer can't even run that high. An former Interplay producer from many years back once said that Real Programmers don't need monitors. * th...

Re: 800x600 no more

I just switch over to 1024x 768, and boy are my eyes tired. I tried this once before, but after the headaches set it ,I gave up. I plan on pushing through the pain and twitches this time, as I ma sick of scrolling left to right as well as up and down to read websites. Anybody else have such problem...

OMG! I was told who you are and like wow! It's been ages since I've seen you! Yeah, I miss the old Fitch building too. Though the building before that with the nice park, lake, and sandwich shop was nice too. And didn't have the parking nightmare that Fitch had. Though as I remember there were a fa...

Re: How about some head models

Sorry for the graininess and my reflection in the glass... (thanks to Valqorez for hosting the images) Where were these? I don't remember ever seeing these in the glass cases there. Were they recently put up? hmmmmm... The Death Claw model was locaed in the Building 4 lobby, next to the Earthworm J...

So, how where these things to be used? As promotional items or design tools of some weird kind? Inquiring minds want to know. IIRC the deathclaw model didn't look posable, and I don't think the heads could be adjusted either. They could be purely promotional, but may have been useful in creating 3d...

Sweet! If you got more, I'd be more than happy to host them on NMA, just gimme a shout.. Made them available on NMA aswell: Fallout Heads and Deathclaw 2 (hope no-one minds) There never have been many FO models on display IIRC,so I don't think I would have any more (I'll check). As far as the pics ...

Thanks for the pics! Our little forum appreciates them. THe Super Mutant is pretty sweet, and you had to show up my deathclaw picture, huh? ;) That's right (wrings hands, laughs maniacally). Actually I had forgotten that I had these pics. If it weren't for your first DCalw pic I may not have posted...
