Black Isle surround!

Hey there yous!

I just thought of something. Does any Black Isle / Bioware game, like BG or IWD, support surround sound (5.1)? It would be awesome if it did though I do not dare hoping too much for it.

Thank you! Take care / Asurain

Well to be honest it did not bother me much. I read that the singleplayer campain was short so I didn't expect anything. It was quite a relief actually as it felt like I was playing far longer then I would have thought. But of course, the ending in itself was almost a laugh. It was far from a finale...

What I simply cannot dig is the boring maps (except for some maps like Coagulation which is actually a re-used Halo map named Blood Gulch). The depressing announcer is quite the turn-off. Have Bungie never ever played the Unreal Tournament series? That's what an action game announcer should sound li...

I did. But I sold it. The singleplayer campain was very, very good. But I find other multiplayer games far better when it comes to online.

Good evening. I started to play using Tutu. It worked wonders but now that I want to load a game it crashes. I'm not asking for a solution. I'm just letting you know that I will not play for some time. I just can not be bothered figuring out how to fix it. And I refuse to play Baldur's Gate without ...

Yes. I see what you mean. Although I have already made up my mind. Thank you anyway, dousi! I have chosen to play a fighter/assassin. I used Shadowkeeper. First I changed my kit to assassin, and then under the innate tab I chose the assassin kit. It gave me one poison weapon "per rest" - is that cor...

Maybe they figured that way too Pandaman. At what level does the asssassins backstab multiplier and poison come into play? I think maybe an assassin/mage would be all too weak for a solo in BG. Maybe I will choose a fighter/assassin. Assassin/mage would be interesting roleplay-wise but could prove t...

Ah. I see. Thank you both. And you're right.. come to think of it.. assassin/mage may not be very cheesy at all. Does anyone have a sheet for an assassins backstab multiplier? I checked the BG 2 manual but it was only "backstab damage multiplier" and said nothing about assassins. Oh and thank you Sp...

Yes. Of course. Having fun playing is most important. It is just I do not want it to be a walk in the park (but also not the opposite). What do you think, will it be too easy? Remember, I will solo and maybe, just maybe, take one npc along.

Because I do not want to be stuck with a level say 4 assassin/thief and then only be able to level up mage from then on. I plan on playing with this character in BG2 too once I complete BG. And also I intend to solo. (Maybe I will take one other character along, Imoen or someone else. Maybe.)

I thank you all for your answers! More thoughts about class choice / ability scores etc are most welcome however. Thank you for your reply Spider. You do not need to look up how to change the avatar in BG2 directly - I'll use Shadowkeeper. About BG3, I don't remember where I read it, sorry! Anyways,...

Questions for the learned.

Greetings. Now that Interplay and Black Isle have been closed, I wonder where the new Baldur's Gate & Icewind Dale waterhole is, seeing that the Interplay forum was the largest forum. At least to my knowledge. I recently found this site and saw some familiar names; KC, Shodan and jcompton, who I rem...
