The surprise twist ending is what got me. Bruce Willis was actually a ghost. I mean, dang. I like the part where Gollum died, because I hate Gollum. Other than that, the ending seemed far too long. But then, the night I saw it the movie started at 11:45, so it wasn't until after three in the morning...

There are no chickens, there are no eggs, there is only the word, and the word is wog, and wog has always been, so you can damn well forget about what came first or second. It's all in the necronomicon. I'm a scientist and it's my job to know about these things.

I used the stuff during high school and my first semester at college, but stopped. I needed extra money to finance my smack habit and pimping my mother out just wasn't cutting it anymore. Decriminalize. I've argued this many times over and I'm too tired to do it again right now. Legalize it. Vote Li...

Right now it's Welcome to the Monkey House by The Dandy Warhols. I absolutely love this album and it's causing a quarter-life (?) crisis in an otherwise perfectly balanced existence. I shouldn't like the Dandy Warhols, yet I do anyway. I'm so tragically conflicted.

Probabilities are fine and dandy, but you shouldn't discount the probability that the 2nd law of thermodynamics holds absolutely, and thus perpetuum mobile is impossible per definition. You also assume that the universe will exist infinitely long and will not collapse onto itself in a couple of bil...

Christmas, or as I like to call it, Exmas, is good fun all around. I so love this time of year. Sometimes the proles complain that it's become very commercialized (see Visc's earlier post), and you know, it's absolutely true. And though it might be a knee-jerk reaction to dismiss these objections as...

I'm here and at Missy's, and that's it. I'm not good at the internet. I've been on a several others, IPLY being the most obvious, but would hardly call myself a regular.

Jackalmonkey is pretty good at spamming. He/She/It doesn't spam alot, but when he/she/it does..... It's okay, I guess. What fine bait. I/I/I shall have a taste: Merely okay ? My writing is so potent, my fingertips actually smoke, flesh and bone rendered to vapor by the overwhelming energy required ...

Okay, I'm making a commitment here and now to average 3 posts a day for at least the next month. Maybe I'll go for five if I'm feeling particularly masochistic. I don't know that my presence will help make this thing work, but in my own limited experience, board activity begets board activity, and I...

In this commercial I just saw, Fran Drescher says to a chimp, "stop monkeying around." Clearly this is little more than base authoritarian denial of the chimp's nature. Clothing covers our bodies, denying our naked human selves (under the supposed authority of "civilization") in much the same way th...

Glorious first post in General Discussion.

I just thought I'd befoul the pristine emptiness of this forum with the needless stain of a pointless post. I feel esthetically validated by this nihilistic vandalism.

You know, I can't help but notice that I'm still not a mod. I just thought I'd bring it to your attention because this must mean the boards are broken or something. Clearly this is the only possible explanation for why I'm not a mod already. Anyway, will there be any features added to these boards? ...

Ah! but the best trival fluff is the kind that has Jennifer Garner in next to nothing. Do you really want to see keifer in a bikini?? nooooo. And they show a picture of kiefer in one at the start of every episode, so watch Alias. Nay, I shan't be delivered to worldly sin by the lowly temptations of...
