Re: Issue 17 - Camera Obscura: A Selfish Morality?

....when the mask falls away and we really learn what we're about... That might be another great topic for one of your columns actually. It's another one of those oft-said observations you can think about deeply, i wonder where its roots lie. I dont think i agree with it at all, if a person gets ma...

Juan replies to your surprises: "I know, we thought the same thing when he first came to our doors, and were reluctant to put a cross-dresser on stage. I can assure you though, we wouldnt want it otherwise. Riki has become a crowd favorite, and although his dancing could be a lot better, she has the...

(ooc - sorry guys, completely forgot it was my turn... feel free to post a reminder if I forget) I was doubting to do so, because honestly the small pause came at a convenient moment, as i am currently between jobs and being busy making arrangements for the new one. I was hoping to use your forgett...

Re: New thread time... How much do you drink?

I'm quite a recreative drinker, i'm lucky i don't drink fast, else who knows what might happen :). That comes down to usually two beers per evening, preferably special belgian ones. Pretty much like my dad does, though he adds a single whiskey/tonic after the two beers. On other occasions there's mo...

Re: Issue 17 - The Hob-Men

Interesting indeed, to read such an in-depth view of what goes on while making a play. Especially liked the thoughts on the castings. I should ask my mother about that, she has a history of appending/directing plays for amateur-level, never asked her what goes on when choosing who to do which part.

Re: Issue 17 - Duncan Lunan Interview - Part One

Interesting fellow. I get the feeling i've heard about him or even saw him, especially after googling his face :) I've been to this Worldcon on SF in Glasgow once, a few years ago, might be he was a speaker there or something. In any case, great interview, looking forward to the next part. I like it...

Re: Issue 17 - Camera Obscura: A Selfish Morality?

ah the age old altruism vs egoism. I too am undecided on the matter, though i feel i want to be naive enough to allow a place for altruism. Its a bit what you make of it of course, doing good, even when not thinking about the rewards in the future or afterlife, causes in most people a feeling of hap...

Re: "bowl world" lore and other

I don't really mind the system, though 3 / 3.5 would be recognizable, heard good things about GURPS, if you could provide some easy first steps i'd be happy to play along. btw, is fat a word in swedish akin to cool/great or something, cause it is in dutch (Vet!) :D Nostal and Nostral both sound grea...

Re: What are you playing right now?

Have a go at Portal 2 then Jan. I admit, it wasnt of the same difficulty as the puzzle games of the old days, i only got stuck twice, of which one lasted a day. On the other hand though, it finally does deliver the huge amount of levels like the old ones did. (not that i do not agree btw)

Hey dousi, you misunderstood my post. Erisael is not looking to pick up some guy for the night. She is flirting ONLY to try and get any information she can from the men in the bar, and the vampire fantasies are mentioned very subtly, and only to try and uncover anything related to the rumoured vamp...

Juan looks happy at the interest displayed in the Mansion and its caterings, replying to Bactar: "I'm afraid i cannot answer all of that good dwarf, i can assure you however the mansion is built strong, with its granite base. I am unsure of its origins however, though i can tell you our proprietor, ...
