Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Well, the film is beginning by being seriously dumb. They fire with a long range artillery style gun that apparently takes ages to reload and they target what? Yeah. The already evacuated base on the ground for no reason at all. Just blow away their command cruiser and win right then and there. Oh, ...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Hillariously, the only Marvel movies I like is Guardians of the Galaxy wich feels like a modern Han Solo movie, Well now there is a Han Solo movie but that was my thought before Han Solo the movie! That's pretty hilarious, yes, at least you can appreciate it yourself, what with Guardians of the Gal...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Star Wars is indeed crap. There are three good Star Wars movies, the original three. But you can't even watch those. You can only watch the daft "digitally enhanced" versions. Actually... you can, kind of. A Czech english teacher sat down, taught himself movie editing and painstakingly recreated th...

Re: Random events of the day

Nicole de Boer was in my favorite Outer Limits episode (along with the T-1000). A couple of years before she became Ezri. Liked her ever since. Poor Bob Patrick screwed over Humanity then but eh. I could understand. Who wouldn't want to comfort her in a situation like that. Heh.

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

You've put a lot of effort into breaking up those quotes. I must be getting to you. Your resolve is weakening. ;) Geordie is a perv and LeVar Burton should have been ashamed of himself for not insisting on rewrites. There's no comparison between Tom and Katie's salamander sex and Geordie the Pervy ...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

TNG Season 1... no wonder Patrick Stewart expected the show to be cancelled and even Denise Crosby, who never had much of a career, wanted out. And name one character on VOY as useless and annoying as Troi. I'd take a ship full of Neelixes any day. Voyager had a season 1 too. And a season 2. Basica...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

If that's the best you can come up with, and considering your third example is a story that's been told many times before TNG picked it up, I can see that I win this easily. Only in your dreams. It's only three examples and each better than everything in Voyager. There are many more great episodes ...

The Measure of a Man, Drumhead and Darmok alone are better than anything Voyager had combined. :p

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

You're quite clearly addled when it comes to the quality of Star Trek shows. ;) Voyager's writing and character development was so bad that even Kate Mulgrew thought Janeway was supposed to be bipolar and Robert Beltran thought they were insane in dealing with Chakotay. Plus it had Neelix. Bob Picar...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Ok, so, running out of things worth watching on Netflix... seriously, you can only do so many re-watches of the various Star Trek shows or Archer and there's a finite amount of decent documentaries to watch and I'm hard pressed to think of a really good Netflix original series.... My wife and I hav...

Hey, I prefer it too but I only kept the forums open for you, Majestic and Merl. And as lovely as you lads are, the update meant new template and I'm not hiring someone to do a new one just for the four of us. :) On another note... Z Nation was cancelled. Damn. I mean yeah, the fifth season was rea...
