Re: Random news Roundup

I agree that a Trump administration will not be as bad as most people claim, despite having full support of congress, the dude is incredibly inconsistent now and backing off of a lot of what he promised. In other words, Trump realizes he's not running a business or kingdom. And it's not just the rel...

Re: Random news Roundup

I feel mildly sorry for the Arabs, they're being used by both the USA and Russia as proxies for a war. Speaking about Russia, as much as I hate Trump, at least Putin is willing to talk to him and doesn't hate him like he does Clinton. If Clinton was elected I seriously think nuclear war would've hap...

Re: Travel thread

Out of curiosity how big is Austria in modern times? I know it was huge back in the day but I think the anschluss happened if my WW2 history is correct (which it might not be).

Re: What are you playing right now?

Playing vanilla civ 5 because I'm poor as hell and my ex bought a hard copy (which I appreciate actually as I'm starting to support hard copies in most media that I buy like comic books). I am incredibly jelly of my brother who has everything and can even use mods that he probably won't use or downl...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

I've been rewatching Futurama and I found out I love Scruffy and Mr. Panucci for some reason.

Re: Random news Roundup

Less dangerous in what way? Militarily or ethically or economically? It's a losers election. Neither one should hold office and it's a really sad, pathetic commentary for the so-called greatest nation in the world to only have these two idiots to choose from. I'd still prefer a liar in in office (a...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Agents of SHIELD everybody keeps saying it gets better after the first season but to be blunt, I would rather watch The Green Lantern over this to get to the second season.

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Started watching Seaquest. It's a lot different from O'Bannon's work that I'm more familiar with Farscape so it's kind of jarring to see him with this. It's very interesting and I am hoping it gets better as I haven't been that impressed with it but I'm still interested since I do see potential.

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Batman V Superman. Oh boy, except for the heavy handed religious metaphor near the end it was a pretty decent, if somewhat disjointed, movie. I totally agree with you Anyway I finished watching Threshold. A short-lived series with Peter Dinklage and Brent Spiner, pretty good despite having no ending

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

watched Vampire Academy, oddly enough I really wanted to like it in a cheeky way but well it failed on that point and for me that's hard to do. Very much a pass.
