Re: On Line Gaming

Well, Swtor has been parked somewhere on a laptop hard drive for now and it's other games that takes up my time these days. Not much single player games either, but besides Guild Wars 2, we (our little gaming group) play things like: Age of Empires 2 Portal 2 (for max 2 players) Saints Row III (same...

Re: Random events of the day

A laptop on your lap... who would have thought??? I suddenly remembered that I have decent internet connection at home now, so discovered the joy of TV on demand from some of the local Aussie TV stations. SBS in particular likes to send more Danish TV crime and drama series than any Danish TV statio...

Re: Random events of the day

My friend ended up stranded in Melbourne on the Friday (doing some work with her uni project group), so she suggested we go eat somewhere before crashing at my place for the night. A quick google search came up with a Japanese place... hey, maybe sushi and sake, how bad could it be? We couldn't get ...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

It was surprisingly good... :look: Especially since I've only seen 1 of the previous movies (Captain Marvel) It had drama, romance, action, sorrow, tragedy, humour, heartbreak, quiet moments of reflections. Of course, being a full 3 hours long they could cram quite a lot in there, but I was never bo...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Yeah... all those MCU movies that I haven't seen

Meh, I'll have to ask my friend for the 10 minute summary of the previous movies before we get there

Re: Christians Against Slipknot: A Facebook Page

It's not that growls are bad per se, they can be great. Most often though, they're not. What I would consider "great" growls: <snip incomplete list> Double post ftw! Weren't you from Austria? How come, as a native German speaker, that there is no Udo Dirkschneider (solo or in his old band, Accept) ...

Re: Christians Against Slipknot: A Facebook Page

I can't really say I know Slipknot (no change from my previous post in this thread I suppose), but I'm going to listen to them live anyway in October. They are the warm up band for the Metallica concert I got tickets for /headbang

Re: Random news Roundup

Just imagine how wonderful the world would be without religion. Simple human decency and an advancement of the sciences... Ehh... sorry to say, but I think religion is really more of a symptom than a cause. Humans suck. They are greedy, avaricious, capricious and generally amoral in their selfishne...

Re: Random rant of the day

So much for getting a citizenship sorted out online.... things went smoothly until the system didn't take into account a future dated application. I guess I have to either do it the old fashioned way on paper or wait until July. Hmm... time to test how good my printer is I guess. Backstory: Part of ...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

A friend and I are going to watch the latest Marvel marvel (pun not completely unintended)... He's quite the super hero fan and I guess I don't have anything better to do on a Wednesday evening this week. I might have to catch up on the previous story bits though, as it seems to be the end of a seri...

Re: Guild Wars 2 (Warning: Image heavy)

My Charr (a race of giant, ferocious felines) warrior readying his sword for action. Those brilliant Asuran science guys must have miscalculated something when experimenting on this captured "Eye of Zhaitan". Suddenly the undead started gating in through portals (outside the view of the camera). My ...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Didn't really watch anything, as much as look for it, but I found the Caprica 1.0 1.5 dvd's on Amazon. I might just end up buying them. Saw parts of the show a long time ago and it looked intriguing. Same thing with the Sarah Connor chronicles, I might want to get my hand on those. If nothing else, ...

Re: Random events of the day

A stark reminder of how old I am... started back in a gym just before Easter and went there again yesterday (trying to do it a couple of hours every Tuesday and Thursday). It was 6 months since my last visit to a gym, shortly before moving from Brisbane, so my body is trying to cope with the punishm...
