Re: Random events of the day

Last night after dinner, we sat watching tele. Well, my wife watched. I had my laptop... on my lap cos that's where they go... and was pumping out resumes. That job I started last month... the company, the "leadership", all just blech. Quite honestly, it's the second worst job I've ever had.

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

When I want my alien fix I'll catch an episode or two of Ancient Aliens. It's so awesome. I used to watch it. Some of it is interesting enough. Most of it is... really reaching or outright lame and played for laughs. At least I'm assuming it's played for laughs. Or hoping so. What's funny, sadly so...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

TWD hit its peak around S4. Then just boring same old same old.. It never ends, it's just frickin' boring rinse repeat bs. Game of Thrones. Meh. Never cared. People blab about it all the the time and are shocked that I don't watch it. I prefer reading non-ficton. I read so much I don't always retain...

Tried it. Did nothing for me.

Re: Random rant of the day

We can always make another thread for it :P And nice on new job! :) New jobs aren't always nice so much as necessary. Bills must be paid. That's what it boils down to. Here, we often use the term "survival job". That's something you take to pay your bills until you can get your career back on track...

Re: Random rant of the day

Um... channeling Marcus at the end, are you? ;) I was a Crown Ward. Group homes, foster homes, and homeless at 16. Most of my life has sucked pretty bad and those "formative years" are what lead me to being an anti-capitalist that doesn't trust "the system". People keep telling me I should be an adv...

Re: Random rant of the day

I should probably go back and edit the thread title for this since ranting is not what any of us do here... except maybe Marcus. ;) So anyhow, started a new job at the beginning of the month and have had no time for doing any content for Winterwind'd youtube channel. Irony. You need the job for bett...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

We watched a couple of zombie movies on the weekend.

The Rezort was alright, it was entertaining enough. Here Alone... talk about a steaming pile of poop. Just boring and slow and this is from me, the guy that thought S2 of The Walking Dead was one of the best.

Maybe we'll have to bake you an imaginary cybercake... assuming your muscles aren't in so much pain from your gym routine that can raise your imaginary fork. ;)

Re: Random news Roundup

I used to read the news, local, national and international, several times a day. I used to worry about the world and humanity and stressed over what I'd read. Now, I just check the BBC periodically, skimming the headlines as the Beeb is my homepage on my mobile, but I don't actively read the news an...

Re: Random events of the day

I see little value in anything with religious connotations. It speaks to nothing more than ignorance and intellectual deficiencies in my view. Are we overpopulated and taxing the planet's resources? Hell, yes, we are. And part of the problem is religion and what you call culture. Overpopulation is ...

Re: I need gaming suggestions...

I enjoyed the first Borderlands game back on the old PS3. Good times gaming with some friends, three TVs and PS3s in the same room... a haze of... ;) Ultimately though I don't have time for more than a few minutes of mobile gaming. I work full time and when I'm not working at work I'm working on mus...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

Agreed on the Empire Strikes back. Hell, Harry S. Plinkett agrees with that. ;) Oh, watched Black Summer, the Z Nation prequel. They dropped the humour and tried to go gritty. Sadly, they shouldn't have. Damn, dude. The time I spent watching those eight craptastic episodes with, as one reviewer note...
