So, going for an evil techie then?

I had a halfling tech-thief that did pretty well. I shouldn't have wasted points on Prowl though, that's a useless skill unless you're going to solo or just choose NPCs who also have the skill. And it needs to be at such a high level to really work.

Ye gods, you can actually stand those buggers? I'm glad I don't mod that place, otherwise I'd go on a deletion spree. All those whiner-threads must qualify as spam... Heh, sound all too familiar! But playing Arcanum again... Hmmm, might be a good idea. I've never finished the game, I always get sid...

You know, I got the game shortly after it came out, I think there was one patch at the time. I had read it was buggy, prone to crashing, the whole bit, but my play-through went flawlessly. Not a single crash. The only bad part was performance wise with long load times. I've had a bit of a hankering ...

Do you play Bloodlines with any of the user-made "patches"? And if so, do they make a difference?

That one is on my replay list once I update my computer with some more RAM to cut down on those insane load times.
I just wish the end third or so was better, it turns into a run-and-gun shooter.

Yes, William Hartnell (first Doctor), Patrick Troughton (second) and Jon Pertwee (third) have all died. As have Roger Delgado and Anthony Ainley, both whom played the Master.

Now it's almost as old as you guys :P Heh. We were born during the third Doctor's (Jon Pertwee) time, which was, I think, the best run the show has ever had. The 1970-1974 period was the overall strongest the show has been, I think. It was Pertwee and Tom Baker as the Doctor that I really grew up o...

Actually, there's more on television now that I'm thoroughly enjoying than ever.

TV has tons of crap to be sure, but to dismiss TV as completely rubbish is short-sighted in my opinion. There's some really good work being done right now.

The Face Of Jack The Ripper

This will be of interest to at least one person around here. http://www.cbc.ca/arts/tv/story/2006/11/21/ripper-sketch.html Grieve said witness statements had enough similarities to suggest they might be speaking about the same man. The computer-generated composite sketch was created from those descr...

I bought LOTR:BFME super cheap, and wasn't terribly impressed. Had some good stuff in it, but when it came down to the guts of the game, it was a very simplistic RTS. My usual gripe with RTS games is the lack of tactics, it's build up base, build up horde, mob enemy, repeat. Tedious in the extreme, ...

Corey Hart can be admired on a purely cheese-based level. But yes, Dion, Murray, Adams... all wretched, wretched stuff worthy of great heaps of reviled loathing and bitter disgust.

Well, 30 minutes is about all it'd take for 6 nuclear powers to destroy the world.
