Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

Who's fighting? Merl asked for feedback and I'm giving. *shrugs* It's such a simple point I don't see why it's apparently becoming such an issue. I was being facetious  ::edit:: Alright then. Still no consensus on healing though. Whatever works for you, really. My preferences are just that, a...

All the commoners are suffering from PTSD at the moment, but don't worry Joseph! In two months' time they'll all wake up at night, crying because the big bad man yelled at them :P

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

HP/level wise, I favour DnD4's system, where you get a set amount of HP every level, and then apply your CON modifier. In a game of linear (or exponential, in the case of wizards :P) growth, having a random element that will either ruin someone's character or be completely irrelevant, adds nothing t...

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

Indeed. As a matter of fact, in the last game of DnD3.5 that I played waaay back in ye olden days of Denmark, we used a particular house-rule, where any healing spell healed for the full amount, plus the cleric's level AND charisma bonus. I liked that one, since clerics then hardly spent *any* time ...

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Play Thread

Konrad gestures towards Josef and Ara. "Good idea you two. The front door should be secure enough, but the back door, as you say, is still a liability, so that should be our first priority. After that, we should take some of the stronger spirits from the bar, and barricade ourselves upstairs. Who kn...

Re: Random rant of the day

So anyone tell me whats up with womens jeans today? It shows off all the shapes and its like my father used to say "Like they poured them inside the jeans" So women dress more shapely to show of my cleavage, bums and what not since it was anti-female before when they where dressed in tons of cloths...

Re: Random rant of the day

I shouldn't laugh but these types of things are extremely funny. When they happen to someone else. Eh, I do try to give these things a slightly humorous spin, so that it reads more like a bit out of a stand-up comedy skit, rather than just the whinging of a poor student :) No reason that I should d...
