Re: Zombie slaying on PS3 with Lord Sadness and me...

If they sent it only two weeks ago, then you should definitely wait at least a week more. Sending them an angry email right now will only help you reach the very ass-end of the complaints queue. But if it still hasn't arrived in, say, 10 days or so, a polite notice that you've been waiting for month...

Re: Zombie slaying on PS3 with Lord Sadness and me...

Actually, I think it took them that long to ship it. Ls said he's dealing with a UK company that plenty of Swedes order from so the company is apparently legit but they only shipped it last week. Still, it is lousy service and not someone I'd make the mistake of dealing with a second time. In that ...

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

Can I jam the door with my 1/4staff, perhaps to buy some time to build a better barricade? Otherwise, I'm about as useful as harsh words in an armed conflict :)

Re: Zombie slaying on PS3 with Lord Sadness and me...

If you've been waiting for 2 months, it's gone baby. Send them an email, tell them it never arrived, and have them send a replacement. This is free of charge, since you've not received something you've already paid for. Usually, if something's not there within a month of being shipped, you're never ...

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

Nothing wrong with Warhammer, FRP or 40K RP. My favourite systems and settings, in fact :)

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

I can see it now... We get sucked into Ravenloft, I kill Konrad and Gorth for cowardice, fail a Dark Powers check and get my own domain! :D This is starting to sound like something straight out of Warhammer 40K :D I can see it already: Josephus the Commissar, Konradius the Psyker, Gorthus the Scum,...

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Play Thread

Taking care that only Gorth hears, Konrad mutters " Agreed, but a token effort at the door would be prudent, before we retreat to the stairs ." Using his standard action for moving as well, Konrad heads for the door, but stops in between the two tables closest to the door (Moves 1 NE, 5 E, 1 NE). "H...

Re: What are you playing right now?

How far along are you? The first mini-boss is a real wakeup call :)

::edit::

Days later, it occurs to me that I was slightly off my mark.

Yeah, I killed a bunch of 'em this morning. Took me a while though, since I'm a bit rusty when it comes to using the admin tools :)

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

As a cleric, you should never memorise cure spells, since you can spontaneously convert one of your other memorised spells, into a cure one.

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Play Thread

Konrad sees that he's quickly running out of options, and so takes the only recourse he recognises: shouting for help!

"HELP! We could use some help over here!"

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Discussion Thread

Mechanically speaking, Konrad's a one-trick pony. If it has a brain and personality, he'll bend it to his will, but that's pretty much all he does. Low-level undead such as zombies and skeletons are pretty much specifically designed to kill Konrad. Personality-wise, Konrad's calculating and self-ser...

Re: MERLANCE's Campaign Play Thread

The mindlash's lack of effect is obvious, and even Konrad's age-addled brain picks up on the zombie's (relatively) good health.

"Change of plans, friend. I'm getting out of here."

Konrad withdraws from combat, and gets as far out of harm's way as his creaky old legs will take him.

Re: What are you playing right now?

I've been playing Dark Souls a lot lately, and it's simply awesome. It's supposed do be insanely difficult, but I find it's only difficult if you're not careful and rush into things. And since we're sharing wallpapers, here's a Dark Souls themed one. Sadly, with my brick the game is slightly less jo...

Re: Random rant of the day

1) I have a family tree, tracing my ancestors back to French Huguenots, so I'm fairly sure I'm not inbred, but the jury is still out on the moron thing. The rest of the Faroese population, though? Inbred morons. 2) Agreed! 3) Oh, completely true! I don't give the slightest and smallest of damns abou...
