Re: Random events of the day

I think having a nation is the best thing we can have. It is how apes and wolves work, It is just a bigger pack or tribe. Without it, we will not have what we have now but chaos.

Re: Random events of the day

I believe (pun unintended) that it's part of human nature, this need to identify yourself as part of something. Whether it's being nation states, religion, philosophy (political or otherwise), we just seem to have this need to identify us as something. Social Darwinism in action? I do believe so to...

Re: Random events of the day

War will always be there. If we reach a warless society, that I think is when we somehow ascend to a religion and ideology free society that adjust accordingly to what is needed, not to what people feel ALWAYS need to be there. I wish we could free ourselves of religion. I simply shake my head that...

Re: Random rant of the day

Like I said, we're a flawed species and a PA scenario will, in general, bring out the worst in people. Sure, there will be pockets of compassion where people still hold on to our more noble virtues, but for the most part people will look out only for themselves and maybe those they care about. I'be...

Re: Random events of the day

Not sure where my own life will take me, it feels like it been a hamster wheel the last 5 to 10 years. Im suprised at people just going "JUST DOIT" or "Just MOVE". It's not just up and leave all we have. Hopefully I be back into studies this autumn but my health is wonky, both physically and mentall...

Re: Random rant of the day

But Danes do mount complains when wronged. Swedes sometimes, I think is bit to brainwashed. Hell I even seen people defend Article 11 and Article 13 in the EU, as if the Swedish state love applies to EU too. DDR is commonly used around here! Joseph! :P Ironic you mention post apoclyptic. A psycholog...

Re: Random rant of the day

I wouldn't recommend moving here. Canada only pretends to be a great country. Sure, we're better than the US but you'll find where you are in Sweden preferable to here. I am not to sure about that Swedish "I am okay with this and trust the state" mentality combined with lack of even decent leaders ...

Re: Random rant of the day

I just found it shady, how they could "help" with paying for this education. It felt like I somehow would end up in debt to this company. Perhaps I had to "work it off" or pay it back as a loan. Considering that possibility I mailed em this evening and said no thanks. Nor do I wish to move to Spain....

Re: Random events of the day

I put my money on the Balkans somehow managing to split up even more! Bosnia is in a bad shape with their "3" governments pretty much.

I Have now! Uncle Joseph! :P I think...lol! But now I remember the password you given me,
