Re: What in the, soon Christmas

Nice. :D It's my mothers birthday tomorrow.. I think I got her a hate-gift.. A cute apron plus a heat-insulated glove for handling hot things.. Imprinted with "World Best Mother" (in Danish).. Just the thing you'd buy for your mother if you were seven years old and completely unaware of sexism.. Thi...

Re: Skyrim

Buying games for your friends to play kind of sounds like buying friends.. or keeping them. I guess in a way it makes sense.. like most people have more than one chair or a couch with multiple seats.. It just feels a bit.. I don't know.. Normally you'd just bring your own game and machine.. It would...

Re: What in the, soon Christmas

Maybe he combs his hair, if he's got any.. Heh, I'm actually badly in need of a haircut. Almost looks like a mullet when it gets really long. On the other hand, I once had a girl ask me in all seriousness if I waxed my arms  What I question is the reasons for "get nice food, assorted chocolate...

Re: Random news Roundup

Maybe so, but I don't go to that sexist place. Maybe if they make a Hunburger to complement the Hamburger I'd stop with the scorn for a few seconds. Hm.. that's actually a little weird that a US company use the danish words to describe their burgers.. That's not a first. I guess Himburger just...

Re: What in the, soon Christmas

Stating the obvious. No, I lack the words to get it right. Hypocrisy is something about trying to adapt to beliefs and values that you don't share. It's about pretending, but why pretend? Can you not find your own beliefs and values and just ignore the stream without actually going against it? The s...

Re: Fallout: New Vegas

Well, you can customise your features during character creation and again in the Old World Blues DLC so your "featureless" comment has just been shot down. That is just cosmetics and it doesn't add anything. No context in play. Your attempt of shooting my comment down has been shot down. You can pi...

Re: Fallout: New Vegas

One way or the other I think it's pretty weak and lame that you can only play as a featureless anonymous human. No background, no race, no nothing, just a featureless anonymous voiceless human. That is completely out of character. What immersion??? Would have been nice to play as a Super Mutant, Gho...

Re: Random news Roundup

On the rare occassions that I visit McDonalds, just to get a taste of fuel for more spiteful comments, I usually lose my patience with the slow processing speed of orders and leave shop, before I ever get a taste of crap, but from the sound of it I guess you must be dying for (from) a McAussie Burge...

Re: Random news Roundup

Actually, shutting down McDonalds is a pretty good idea. Crappy tasteless junk-food, who needs it??

Besides running a branch of a low-priced junk-food franchise that is completely dependent on imports seems like a rather stupid concept for a small, remote and isolated island.

Re: What in the, soon Christmas

We are not celebrating Christmas in Denmark, we are just having Jul - derived from an old nordic tradition called Jól. There is no hypocrisy about getting the family together for some cozy time together, delicious food and surprising each other with presents. No hypocrisy at all about having b...

Re: Fallout: New Vegas

I think the Legion is the least sensible option, quite the immersion breaking option as the history paints a rather gruesome picture of anyone making alliances with the Legion - it's either enslavement or crucifiction. It makes zero sense to join them for any reason.

Re: Random events of the day

Today was a pretty weird day in a way. October 16th, cold autumn time with a warm sun in a clear blue sky, but I could feel the cold lurking in the shadows, sleeping, just waiting for me to put on my knickers and a short-sleeved shirt and I almost failed the temptation. I set out for a walk dressed ...
