I switched to Firefox some time ago, when it still was Firebird, and I haven't looked back at Internet Explorer since. This is for two reasons: the multi-tab function, and the "type the link", or whatever, function. They have made my surfing a hell of a lot easier.
I do bugger-all, but that's OK;
I sleep all night, and I read all day!

I use opera, and I find it great. It uses tabbed browsing like Firefox, but it only uses one window. I always found it a bit pointless to have multiple Firefox windows if it uses tabs to avoid having that.

The only problems I'm having with opera, is if I leave it open for too long, it starts taking up large amounts of RAM, and also it seems to crash often (probably because of me crappy computer), thoguh that does solve the aforementioned problem...
and lastly, not every site displays correctly...

I love Firefox. No popups, no ads, wicked extentions (Foxy Tunes... best... extention... ever), tabs "Whaaa!", The Bookmars Toolbar.

Yeah.

Firefox here too, the best thing ever since sliced bread.

The search functions and the taps and the extentions, it's all good.

And no ads, yum

I've tried IE, firefox and opera.

I like opera best, because it has most options and is relatively secure...

IE seems the least secure one, besides it generates spyware and popups...

^ that may be due to the popup blocker that comes with Win XP SP2...

Firefox, since the Firebird days. And by the way you don`t need new windows when opening tabs, you just have to configurate it properly. Before i used Opera and IE, but that`s long gone.

For me it's Netscape all the way and has been since version 3, with an exception around version 6 (that version really sucked).

I've multiple browsers and Netscape just have everything I want, including tabbed browsing and pop-up blocking.

And it looks more stylish (which actually does matter a little, but functionality still comes first).

Used Netscape 4.5 for three year and loved it, until SOMEONE started abusing the easy cover up functions. presently using IE X 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_.rtm040803-2158 with google toolbar, and thats all an irregular web browser neeeds really.
