Continued my danish movie "nostalgia" flip. After the previously mentioned 'Adams Apples' (English title), I watched 'In China they eat dogs' (also English title, duh).

People who like dark, gritty and deadpan humour would do themselves a favour by checking out the trailers (some things you can't do justice in a few sentences).

Edit: In the same vein, dusted off my old 'Leon' DVD. Slightly similar "type" of movie.

Kamen Rider Gaim, been watching Kamen Rider on and off. Almost done with Amazon which I'll get into when I'm finished with it. But Kamen Rider Gaim is awesome.

Watching it raw, I knew exactly what they were saying with their body motions and such. The suit looked good in the action and a lot of foreshadowing that was hidden in the imagery. Very well done and something I am going to watch more of.

I watched Elysium some time ago.

It wasn't as good as I had expected. Sure, Copley as bad guy on a chopper with a South African flag painted on it was a nice shoutout, but sadly a shoutout to a rather similiar and somehow more entertaining movie.

Late to the party but... just signed up on Netflix and I'm now watching the Walking Dead.

Couldn't help myself. Watched a couple season three episodes tonight at a friend's, enjoyed it and I figured I'd start from the beginning.

I'm enjoying it and two co-workers have told me the second season is something of a let down but I'm liking the character development and seeing Shane slowly losing his mind.

The Walking Dead is decent! I bought season 1 and 2 after playing the Telltale game about Walking Dead. A heartbreaker that one.

Also, I hear Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad is good. The later sounds shitty to me. Teacher get cancer, teacher make meth. Uh...

Finished Kamen Rider Amazon. Good for what it is a 1970s Tokusatsu.

Almost done with Kamen Rider Fourze. Very fun show, not very deep but fun and engaging.

Well, I breezed through The Walking Dead and now I'm waiting for S4 to finish so it goes up on Netflix.

Looking for something else to watch, Hemlock Grove was recommended to me. Made it through the first two episodes. Ugh. Decent cinematography but piss poor acting, casting and writing. And why the hell should I care about teenage werewolves and vampires or whatever the hell they are. Wasn't that what Twilight was about?

The quest for something decent to watch continues.

I watched the New Thor Movie. Decent Popcorn flick and pretty entertaining. Excuse the weird spelling I can't really be arsed to countermend my iphone's (German) Auto correction...

Dragonball Evolution for bad movie night. Actually not that bad of a movie and totally didn't deserve the statement of "worst movie ever" as some people claim. Still a bastardization of the manga/anime but not complete garbage like most if not all adaptations of the genre.
