Remember, once upon a time, when I despised social media like Facebook and Twitter and viewed them only as necessary evils for the website when we were doing the quarterly ezine?

Well, I still despise Facebook but Twitter is actually enjoyable. I try avoiding politics. I'm just there for artsy things for both business (Winterwind) and pleasure and I do kind of dig it. I'm not overly active but so far I've had likes and retweets from musical instrument makers and retailers, Danelectro and Roland, Long & McQuade and a like and follow from a member of the Gretsch family (Gretsch Guitars). The coolest though... likes from Aron Eisenberg (Nog) and Nicole de Boer (Ezri) from DS9. Made me feel like a kid again when those came. :)

Nicole de Boer was in my favorite Outer Limits episode (along with the T-1000). A couple of years before she became Ezri. Liked her ever since. Poor Bob Patrick screwed over Humanity then but eh. I could understand. Who wouldn't want to comfort her in a situation like that. Heh.

I got a second like on Twitter from Aron Eisenberg this afternoon and yeah, Nicole de Boer is all kinds of awesome. Great acting, a beautiful woman and from everything I can tell, she's a good person too.

Does it make me a bad person if I take some kind of perverse joy in watching the Fox News site squirm and whine and wet their pants in fear everytime AOC does something?

Gorth!!! I had to triple check the timestamp on your post. Thought I'd clicked the wrong thread.

How are you my old friend? Absolutely great seeing you. I was going through the site today, reorganising a few things, missing some folks, looked at your old Fallout fan art and here you are.

You put a smile on my face.

And to answer your question... nope. Not at all.

Sorry. No clue who "AOC" is. And "broad"? Where did you hear that term for women? That's old US slang, From before you were born.

Broad? Heard it here and there. We used the similar "Brud" in Sweden.

That "Young" congresswoman who sounds like Mickey Mouse on helium. Thats who AOC is.

OK, well, regardless of where you heard it, and regardless of the fact that the forums are just a handful of us... really? You're in your 30s now. I know life in Malmo is rough, I know your life has been rough, but do you really need to be an insulting, right-wing misogynist ass?

I just looked her up and, guess what? I'd have voted for her if I lived in her district/riding/whatever they call it there. She seems to care about people, regardless of gender, orientation or ethnicity and she seems to care about the environment.

She is free of criticism because she is a woman? She is either really ignorant or a fraud. And I care not about her origin or not. The woman is nuts. Thats my opinion about her. How that is misogynistic or right wing I have no idea.

Is broad offensive somehow these days? It is not like I pulled out some stereotypical cusswords about minorities.

I also notice how aggressive the enviroment turned the last 5 years. It would not been like this 10-15 years ago when this was a new place. Now its "You're an misogynistic ass and alt-right. All these buzzwords glued on people, big chasms between people, even friends because of two sides on a faulty political spectrum grow more and more aggressive and extreme.

I think that is uncalled for, I do not like her. To me, Sanders is a much more prominent choice over her if you want American Democratic Socialism.

Marcus, you amuse me. Gender doesn't make someone immune to criticism. But your mind in makes them deserving of it. You've always been right wing. You've always been insulting towards women. Remember, we've known each other for 15 years and had many, many online chats. You've always had anger issues. I get it. You've had a rough life. But after all this time I'm tired of it. I've had a rough life too. You either grow up, make some peace with yourself and the world around you and work to better it, or at least your own corner of it, or you don't but either way, I'm tired of your little rants and insults. Leanr to express yourself a little better.

Not sure what you mean about "how aggressive the environment turned the last 5 years. It would not been like this 10-15 years ago when this was a new place".

Are you talking about the planet and environmental issues or these forums? Because the environment has always be an issue, for far longer than five years and these forums are 15 years old. You're not easy to follow sometimes but I've always been left-centre politically and had been alternately amused/annoyed by your rants over the years.

If my opinions are to much of an issue for your left-centrist views, you can always ban me. I cannot stop that. Not that I would want that.

And I do not agree with your views of me. Under the years we known each others I been voting the Left wing (Former communists) and the Swedish socialist party. Last election I voted a blank vote. In my view im a conservative socialist who think the wokring party gone out of their hands to focus on the wrong things.

Not sure how you want things to change, I can just go silent I guess instead. It seems whats annoying to others always been something I miss out on while writing.

Yeah, I'm really going to ban you on a forum with only four or five remaining members.

What I'd love is for you to grow up just a bit, act with a little maturity and class. If you don't agree with someone you don't need to resort to insults. I've been telling you that for years. Pretty simple, really. :)
