Honestly only person I have insulted is AOC. I do think she is naive and gullible. I am not fully sure how I insulted you or anyone else. The only person insulted is a highly payed congresswoman. But I refer to try, to not insult anyone in the future.

Marcus... sigh... you're a good kid... even though you're not a kid anymore. And you're quite capable of speaking in full sentences, even in English. But if you don't know why "dumb broad" is insulting, and if you don't know how things like that are a common theme with you... I just don't have the time or inclination to sort through 15 years of your posts.

I don't like discussing politics. The only political path that gives humanity any real hope is a left-centre path, a combination of pragmatism and compassion. Extremes on either side are, well, bad. And speak to nothing more than intellectual deficiencies. Regardless, use your full vocabulary. If you'd said "I don't like her because I find her views..." and elaborated, fine. But you called her a "dumb broad", which, at the end of the day doesn't reflect well on you.

Like I've said many times, there are just you, me, majestic and sometimes Merlance here. Gorth was a fluke. But really, if you want to talk politics, or about people in general, put a little effort into it.

Well, I do find her a dumb broad.

Why? Her political views are extreme and naive. To think you can apply that to the USA with ease is insane. Also when she talks she uses childish terms and comes off as one who do not fully grasp her role. There is no such thing as a functional socialist country who do not apply any shape of free market or has hints of capitalism in it. It is naive to think, the Human mind is fit to have this communistic dream. Any system relying on the compassion and good will of Humans alone is not functional with the mindset of Humans. This very extreme socialism is "equal" but some as said, are more equal than other. The party elite that is.

Is t hat better? Politics suck anyway and so does the politician, she is that now.

Hmm. So, despite claiming to be a friend for 15 years (not that online friendships count for much in the grand scheme of things) you outright disrespect a simple request to grow up and stop being an ass by again, calling her a "dumb broad" then elaborating on why and asking me if it's "better". And, you're still using an ad blocker when you visit here.

Let me explain this clearly... I put the site on a five year hiatus because the people helping really weren't much help. When I decided to relaunch the site back during the holidays I was going to close the forums. They had their time, they served a purpose but I have no use for them anymore.

Then I noticed that you, majestic and Merl still came by for whatever reason. I thought that was kind of nice, kind of cool. So instead of deleting them I updated and left them open. Sadly, the angry, bitter young man you were has just became an angry, bitter adult. I was sick of your bullshit then. I'm sick of it now. I'd rather have a world full of naive, inexperienced idealists than angry, bitter people who do nothing but complain and do nothing to try and affect change.

So tell you what... Turn off your ad blocker when you're here, stop calling women "dumb broads" and stop discussing politics period or just go away because I just have no use for your negativity.

Hey, I just gave you a reason why I think she is not who she portray herself as ! :P

And the ad blocker? Thats because I have a new computer since august last year so its new settings on the adblock. I frankly forgot and im sorry about that.

But if you think those two words are so offense, I stop using the mfor the sake of a 15 year old friendship, How do that sound? And I gonna avoid the political topics. Just people tend to toss em up now and then. I say all should avoid em. Politics and religion is two topics I always say it is good to avoid for friendships sake.

That sounds great, because while I may know you, and know that you're not a bad guy at heart... I'd still love to see you phrase yourself in a manner that doesn't involve childish, or boorish, insults.

Humanity, as a whole, lacks the maturity to discuss politics, religion or sexuality in an enlightened, mature fashion. And one thing I told myself when I decided to relaunch the site and try and grow it was that I don`t want politics coming into it. I`m on two other forums, musicians boards, and politics are a forbidden subject. I follow a few people on Twitter, actors whose work I respect, but when they start tweeting about politics I stay away.

Here, if the site grows again, talking about poverty, talking about the environment, talking about issues like that, sure, fine. Talking about politics will always spiral down quickly into name calling, insults and arguing so it`s really best avoided.

And congrats on the new computer. :)

I need one myself. I DL`d HitFilm Express, which is a very highly rated free video editing software, a couple nights ago and my laptop just barely met the system requirements and worse than chugging along to load, my laptop monitor was too small, I couldn`t access half the menu options because it requires a stupidly strong pc and large monitor so I uninstalled it and had to DL Shotcut instead. But I`ll make do with that because I`d rather invest on a new DSLR camera with an external mic input. As it is, when I start doing videos I`m be starting very humbly, shooting with my old DSLR with just a built in mic, or on my mobile.

My wife and I are also thinking it`d be cool to get a mid-range priced drone for video work too so... a new pc or laptop is way down the list.

I get that! Lets avoid it!

You going into making youtube videos and such? The drone work sounds awesome. I seen some pretty damn nice drone footage! I hope you get your hands on some nice gear soon!

I gonna keep it short here, Middle of some Roll20 RP :D

May as well. It was something I always wanted to do with WW previously but the problem was all the contributors were overseas. My main partners were Lina and Mattias (aka Spider), both of whom were in Sweden, and then, towards the end, several writers in the UK. The closest contributors were Joseph C. (aka AngryKidJoe) and William aka (Choyrt) in the US.

But realistically, it was hard getting a solid level of commitment from people in other countries. When you're in the same city, meeting face to face, actually working on something together, it's different, there's more focus and dedication so hopefully, outside of my wife, I can hook up with one or two people locally and start doing something.

Oh, bad enough that I just got tired of dealing with other people's egos and lack of commitment and arrogance and walked away for five years. As I said many times back then, if you say you're going to do something, do it. And if not, then don't say you are in the first place.

Some of the contributors were really good people I never had a problem with. But some were just so self-centered, whiny and demanding... well, as the old saying goes, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. I didn't have time for bullshit and drama then and I have even less time for it now.

Now, well, I'm just going to start with me and my wife and possibly an ex... is that weird? We were a couple for just less than a year, 20 years ago but every now and then we'd cross paths, hang out for a while then drift apart again but always reconnected. We've been talking again lately, my wife is ok with it because my wife is just awesome, and... we'll see. Plans don't always work out but any "team" I put together has to be local. Contributors can come from anywhere but a team needs to be able to meet face to face.

Really sorry to hear your health is still bothering you. Maybe it's time to try holistic medicine? Doctors haven't helped much since I've known you. :(

Whats holistic medicine?

They sure haven't, another sign of the collapsing system in this country. Its like they just slowly dismantle shit and people laugh if people proclaim things going the wrong way, sigh.

Gorth!!! I had to triple check the timestamp on your post. Thought I'd clicked the wrong thread.

How are you my old friend? Absolutely great seeing you. I was going through the site today, reorganising a few things, missing some folks, looked at your old Fallout fan art and here you are.

You put a smile on my face.

And to answer your question... nope. Not at all.
Hey Joseph!

Sorry, I wanted to reply sooner, but I have been internet challenged since October year, so only doing the bare minimum online. Yesterday I finally got optical fiber connection right into my bed room, so decent speed for Aussie conditions.

Not sure when I last posted about my whereabouts, but I left Brisbane and Australia some years ago, moved to Germany and lived in Berlin for a year. Then I moved to the UK and lived there.... while they had this referendum thing no politician took seriously until they had counted the votes.... and with Brexit on the way, I moved back to Brisbane, Australia again. Now I've moved a bit again, but only like a few thousand kilometers to Melbourne

Work situation sucked in Brisbane or I would have stayed. Love the climate up there, cyclones and everything included. But I had to move south eventually and it was a toss up between Sydney and Melbourne. Melbourne won out because of girl...
