Mobile games aren't that bad.

Or would not be that bad would you play them on a mobile console and not your phone. Touch controls? Dreadful. *barf*

Played TF2 just to see if it would run under my new computer finally. Turned out it did.

Since this is the rant thread... my little rant for the day is that I think it's time to update my resume and start looking for something new, something that will challenge me and provide more opportunity than I have with my present company.

The job is still a good job. The pay could be better of course but for the most part we're well treated and enjoy freedoms that are hard to find with most employers.

In just under three weeks I'll have been there a year. I took the position because I'd heard nothing but positives and during the interview I was sold on the fact that it's a growing company and there's plenty of opportunity for someone with my experience and abilities. I've been told numerous times by various members of management that I'm one of their best, a valuable asset, etc, etc.

But... actions do speak louder than words and after almost a year on the same shift, with the same rank... I'm getting extremely restless. I have over 20 years experience in management, recruiting and training and I feel more like a wasted asset than a valued one.

Factor in that morale has plummeted and... I used to love going to work. Now, that's faded. Some of the staffing and personnel decisions are outright baffling and vets that have been with the company far longer than I have... well, it's almost open warfare between some and a particular supervisor and more than a few are talking openly of leaving.

The job I used to love going to now has an extremely negative pall over it most days. I still do my job, and do my best to lighten the mood but it's wearing me down. And the worst part is that those that complain aren't complaining without cause and I fully agree with their views.

You could always take a leave of absence, go fight the rebels or for the rebels in Israel, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, or somewhere else, I guess lots of people are going and doing that just for the life experience these days.

Maybe to once and for all prove that conservatism is a mental illness?

Yeah well true that.

Gotten worse of late. I am starting to fear Multipel Skleros. I can't say Im that happy about things now and how I wasted the years after high school on nothing. I just hope I can still get better, rebuild my life and move out of my fathers freaking apartment. 27 last sunday. It feels bad thinking of how old I am and how little I achieved or managed to do.

I have no money, no job, no company, no health, friends are moving out and away. Cannot use my education cause of health and uni is going to hell as it is right now.

OH WHAT THE H***

Russia offered this enormous plane to help put out the forest fire bigger than my town in size. Sweden decline the offer. Seriously? I sense a political agenda behind the no. If Russia offers help, take it. This is a way to build a better relationship and get closer to Russia.

Who wants to get closer to Russia? Putin your hero or something? ;)

And now my rant... incompetent co-workers and disorganised and borderline incompetent lawyers are souring my mood today.

No but maybe by getting closer one can act as a neutral part and make Obama and Putin be less hostile.

Also, hillariously enough. Many Swedes see him as some kind of hero! Anti-USA, Anti-New World Order sort of person. I guess its some weird kick back to the old commnism love many Swedes had but in a non communist way.
