No writers block

Post by Firstborn » Fri Aug 22, 2008 9:18 pm

Since there seems to be a bit if a drought in the creative writing department, I thought I'd share a little something. Just so you have something to read.

I will not be held accountable for the quality of it though. ;)

And sorry for the über sleazy girly feel of it, but I didn't want to scare you off with showing my true colours just yet. ^^

A Summer Night Enchantment

This is a night to fall in love
To cross the borders
to pass beyond
what I have always known

Veils of sweet lilacs’ scent
Rustling leaves in the sea cold wind
whirling beneath storm clouds blue
heavy with a summer's rainy hue

Breath of nature
Enchanting is the dream
Mystic fables hide amidst the trees
where cherry blossom petals
fall upon the grassy sea

Come hide among the saplings
Play chase all through the night
In silence I will kiss you
When storm clouds roll about

Yup, that's it.

That's a lot to do in a two room flat!

But hey, aside from logistics...

You get a double thumbs up for the sleazy girl poetry (it turns me on) and for actually posting in the CW forum.

I'm kidding about one part of that. You decide which.

I do bugger-all, but that's OK;

I think her poem is pretty and I think her paintings are pretty and I think you are silly for playing with ponies and barbies.
I'd like to be... under the sea... in an Octopus's Garden... with you!

I understood the chasing and the kissing part... what was that in the middle? :?

Yeah, I am hopelessly uncreative and unromantic :(

Josan, I'm hoping you're joking about the first one, cause a guy who get s turned on by sleazy girl poetry must be really starved of something. ;)

And Magnus is right. Done worse in far smaller spaces. Maybe not the storm clouds, come to think of it though...

Ponies, yes. I'm Swedish, so of cause I know where to get a pony. What colour do you want?

@ Fawning Disciple. Flattery gets you everywhere. :D

And Gorth, no worries, as long as you understand the kissing and chasing part, you're pretty much covered. ;)

Starved? No, not at all. I'm just an extremely sexual person. And you'd be surprised at the wide range of things that turn me on.

And I was happy to see someone post in this forum again.

And... "Ponies". Bwhahahaha. SPJ gets owned!

That makes two of us. Such a shame there's an ocean between us. You'd be someone I'd enjoy chatting with about the meaning (or lack thereof) of life over a few pints.

Oh... and since you liked my "Reasons Not to Trust Women..." piece, I'm thinking you might like one of my articles in the next issue.

Likewise. And I do like beer. :) Just not enough to swim across the Atlantic.
But hey, if I find myself in Canada some day, I'll let you know. :)

Neat! Really looking forward to reading it.
I read the "Born Again in Budapest" recently, and I found that one quite funny too. You, women and you getting wicked with the pen keeps me entertained. :D

Sorry little Jesus, I think I'll pass for now. Too many pink faeries around.

Oh, how that made me laugh! I honestly couldn't think of how to respond. A smiley didn't express it.
