NWN2 Screenshots

Post by Joseph » Sat May 13, 2006 8:50 am

I'm not into gaming any more. Haven't been since BIS died and BG3 and FO3 disappeared into the ether. (That and I'd sooner read a book or go outside in the fresh air or do something "real" but hey, that's just me. I don't have cable either. TV = waste of time and money imo). However, I will say that the screenshots look very impressive imo.

What I do find funny though is this ass kissing comment:

"NWN2 is trying, right out of the gate, to preserve everything players enjoyed about the first title." -Worth Playing

Actually, the whole article is one giant ass kissing ego stroking piece of... There was very little redeemable about the first game, especially the click and watch fest combat approach but hey... the secret to staying in business in the gaming industry is making games that appeal to the lowest common denominator.

At the very least Black Isle... er... Obsidian's art team never disappoint. The screens and concept art are excellent as always.

They could at least have specified what it was they thought players enjoyed about the first title :?:

Ah well.

Considering the game is apparently being chopped to hell and between FU and the rest, they can't even say whether it's a 20 hour game or a 30-40 hour game... There probably won't be much to enjoy about this one.

Click, wait and watch with pause no less

People seems to get mightily upset when calling IE games either turnbased or real time.

Some people are just prissy little nitpicks  Bloody fanbois... So what if the game is either TB or RT - if it's still fun, who gives a Blesséd Turd?

i dont see very many porblems with click wait & watch, there's only a slight difference in attention span when you order around six instead of one unit.
"anyway, smoke orcs if so take eyes if right points left xy."
