Does anyone know anything about Guild Wars? I have decided that World of Warcraft, though a beautiful and nice game, does not merit me spending 9 euro's per month to be able to play, when I have enough other games to play.

I have money from gifts to spend on something nice, that I could buy Guild Wars, but I would like to know whether it is worth the money. So....?

What little hearsay I remember was positive though, without ever getting particularly specific (read: useless info)

Used to play it once, a long time ago, but then I moved to Denmark, and the connection I get now isn't compatible with such frivolous things. IE, our firewall is a pain the ass. Would love to start again though.
