Actually, that camp was from the Fallout comic book that came with the collectors edition (I think it came with the collectors edition). Its worth reading up on.

Havent gotten a chance to do Lonesome Road and GRA yet, I've been playing The Old Republic beta lately.

Just one word of warning.. When you enter one or some casinos both you and your followers deposit their weapons, but only you get them back.. Had a big hammer for Veronica that kept getting lost and I wandered the last known locations in wonder where she dropped it..

Sounds strange... Maybe I should check if Veronica still has that beefed up powerfist i gave her. Since it's the same in-game model, you wouldn't notice if she had swapped it for her default weapon.

I hadn't heard of that bug before. My companions never ever had their weapons taken from them in a casino. Only my PC. Companions can be disarmed during combat and lose their weapons that way but what Jan's saying is a new one to me. *shrugs*

I enter Gomorrah and pick the first choice to hand over all weapons and when I leave again Veronicas Super Sledge and whatever other weapons she had is gone.. Just did a quick tour to check it out. Tried Deluxe, Tops and Gomorrah and it only happens on Gomorrah.

Well, as of yesterday, back to 100% for my FO:NV trophies. Funny that the 3 Star GRA trophies were easier to get than I'd imagined. Who knew taking down death claws with a silenced .22 pistol would be so bloody easy? That gun is da shit!

I wonder what Veronica is most efficient with. I had her use the Paladin Toaster for a while then gave her a big hammer. I think it was called Oh My! or something, but I just feel like she actually killed stuff a lot faster with the powerfist than the hammer. Usually more spectacularly too with all the thunder and lightning. I had a nice dress for her, but I seem to have lost it somewhere (I could have sworn I put them in one of the trunks in the Lucky38 suite). Took it off a pair of dead White Glove assassins in their casino. Might have to just kill the bunch to get a new dress. I wonder if I can serve Boone (I really don't like the guy) for dinner first and then kill them all while blaming the corporate "rancher" for the death of his own son? Decisions, decisions...

I think Veronica just auto-select the most powerful weapon that she can handle. The saturnite fist from OWB seems to be favorite choice.. But then I only have OWB. Unfortunately.. hehe.. She never wear any of the dresses you give her.. And why do you bother about dresses Gorth? Need to play with dolls? Need some ego-stroking?? Wink-wink-nudge-nuts?

I almost never give companions any additional weapons. I let them run with their "natural" weapons pretty much all the time. Occasionally I'll give Cass something since hers is the weakest. And I'll give Veronica a Ballistic Fist once in a while but you don't really need to. What they come with is good enough most of the time.

Because she seems obsessed with them. "Ooh, is it a dress?" every time I open up her inventory. Was curious to see if she would actually put it on if I gave her one.

I've upgraded a few of my companions. Cass got some bounty hunter duster for armour (keeps her "style") and some lever action type gun iirc. Veronica got power armour and the named powerfist, Boone some combat armour and a big named sniper rifle with some kind of Israli sounding name (don't remember what it was called). Still trying to figure out what to give somebody like Lily and Arcade, although I expect the latter is into energy pistols. Since I specialize in energy weapons myself, I haven't really kept much in the way of non laser/plasma guns, so when I picked Raul up, I didn't know where to get some good "western" style revolver for him. I wonder if he would wear a Vault 3 Mechanics jumpsuit? I'll have to try that :)

Give Veronica some Formal Wear, and she gives you an unarmed perk.

Playing through FNV again. Doing OWB now. I do the "go out almost naked and use whatever you find" thing. These days its the K9000 and sonic emitter, and I usually find some lobotomite clothes to wear.

Once I get the steal suit fully upgraded that's my armour for the rest of the game.

Speaking of Veronica just encountered my first major companion bug: Veronica's personal quest won't trigger. I know all the triggers, when and where and why, and they didn't happen so that calls for a restart.

Currently wondering if I shouldn't just make Cass happy and blow the head off the old lady at the Crimson Caravans. I found some evidence in the offices of the Van Grafs and in the Crimson Caravan office, but I've got no clue what to do with it. Cass seems silent on that particular subject. Otherwise I'm "testing" the companions a bit, letting them take turns accompanying me into the wasteland. Boone is the only one I really don't get along with for some reason, he just rubs me the wrong way. Lily seems more mentally stable than him.

I have a problem with some of the vaults, but that is unfortunately more of a hardware issue I'm afraid. My old Radeon 5970 has behaved rather excentric for a while and a number of games makes the "Display Driver is not responding etc." appear. That is, when it doesn't kill my PC outright and a hard reset is necessary. Sort of sucks, I have to buy a new card very soon, or I can't finish places like Vault 22 and the one (forgot the number) where they vote for the Overseer/Sacrifice (trying to scavenge parts for BoS' filter system).

Boone is one of the best companions. Shame you don't like him.

As for Cass's quest... follow the quest marker on your map and the notes for each quest in your Pipboy. ;)

Beat FNV again. Couple mods but nothing hugely game altering. Mostly I use mods that fix something that I didnt like, or are convenience, or expand on something in the game.

Anyways, this playthrough took me about 150 hours over three weeks. I got pretty much all of challenges done, including most of the non-ncr or mr house killing GRA ones. Got all the damage ones done, including the do 100k unarmed damage. Used all sorts of weapons. Maxed out all my skills at level 48. Ended the game at a whopping level 78, I never got even close to that before.

Did every single quest except For Auld Lang Syne (forgot to get Arcade after I wiped out the BoS for Mr House).

Mostly did the leave HQ with no armor and no weapon (or something weak) so I could carry more loot. Then I would use better stuff as I got it.

Used Brass Knuckles as my first weapon for a while. Punching coyotes ftw.

Lonesome road was Okay. I didnt like it much except for the End of it. Not that I mean that I liked it when it was over, just that I thought the last part was the best part.
