Well....not much to say about this.

The game is...decent to be honest and fiting with the current version of DnD (that 4th freaking edition) but if we look at Neverwinter Nights which its more or less sprung out of! It is a very bad game.

A good MMO, a bad RPG. I shall mourn Neverwinter Nights 3 and hope that Neverwinter Nights last a few more years. Whats your opinion on this game?

Can't say I'll be trying it. The older I get the more I find gaming is just something to kill an hour or two when I'm not at work or out socialising.

I find it a very stress reliefing thing to do.

I also have a pretty big social network online now. A lot of people I got to know online.

I played the Beta a bit. It's a nice game, but the animations and moves were a bit too clunky. The user generated content was curiosly decent, at least the one I tried. My main problem, and that's a personal one, is that I'm not really going to get into a second MMO because that's far too time consuming. I'll be sticking with SWTOR for the nonce until Star Citizen comes out. I'll also be ignoring TESO completely, I'm so not going to give Bethesda my hard earned money.

No one should ever give Bethesda their money, hard earned or otherwise.

Among the (discerning) gamers I know their views are the same as mine: Beautiful worlds, gorgeous actually, but pathetic hack writing, characters with zero depth and broken scaling and levelling systems.

Yes, pretty much. I once compared the characters in Morrowind to Wikipedia entries. You talk to them, you click on hypertext links through what is supposed to be a "dialogue" to get to the information you need. There was zero depth or emotion attached to any of them.

I can see that working well into an MMO though. I once compared Morrowind to an MMO without other players. The question on how good TESO is going to be largely lies in Bethesdas ability to build a world (which they obviously can do) and the encounters/quest/endgame content they create - and I seriously doubt it's going to be any good.

Still, it's possibly going to be a commercial smash hit. Morrowind, Oblibion and Skyrim obviously were, after all. As hard as it is to admit, after all the raving reviews I bought Morrowind back then. I even played it a lot... then I noticed I was level 56 or some such without having ever touched the main storyline - or ANY storyline at that - and my character was completely invincible. Dang. Stopped playing after that. :haha:

I grew completely, utterly bored of Skyrim when my character was running around, on the hardest difficulty setting, wearing a helm, gauntlets, boots and just underwear and one-shot killing dragons that couldn't even injure me.

Bethesda is truely bad att creating RPGs!

I say Fallout New Vegas is the real Fallout 3 while the Fallout 3 is a Oblivion mod! :x

I actually tried to try it... (Neverwinter Online). But when it came to running the game client, my security software threw hissy fits and told me not to. In the end I listened to my security software, despite actually creating and account and login for the trial/early thing.

As for Skyrim, I got the game and an expansion for it. I *think* Steam has all 30 minutes of game time on record. I might get back to it some day (it's just one of many Steam games bought on sales, I got quite the back log).

I have around 300 games, the last 100 bought cheap in humble bundles and probably another 175 are gifts from friends, cheap games, free games or 4 packs split with friends.

Yep, I'm just not much of a gamer.
