Well, the voters in the last survey had an apathetic view towards 2009.

What will 2009 bring?

World hunger 8%
World peace 0%
World war 14%
Something good 14%
Something bad 17%
I've stopped caring 44%

But, there's new survey up. Tell us your favourite thing about spring.

Considering that A) You're not an Aussie, you're a Dane living Down Under and B) While Australia did give us Men at Work and Midnight Oil, they also gave us Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) and Air Supply... who cares what season it is down there? Hmm?

Well, they also gave us Mad Max, Naomi Watts, Heath Ledger and AC/DC

On the downside, it also gave us Kylie Minogue and countless bad TV soaps :?

Anything that brought Heath Ledger to this word is forever forgiven. No matter what else crap it tosses at us.

And for the records, the best thing about spring is the sun. Pitch black darkness around the clock during winter does things to your psyche.

The final results of the spring survey:

Your favourite thing about spring?

The warm weather 26%
The flowers 8%
The rain 11%
The mud 2%
Fewer clothes on the opposite sex 50%

I'm not surprised at all. :)

And the new survey is up. It's the best I could do... someone else needs to come up with one once in a while. I'm fresh out of ideas.

In the last survey, we asked what scared you the most out of the following. The results were:

The recession: 10%
Climate change: 45%
North Korea: 1%
Michael Jackson media saturation 44%.

Interesting results indeed.

And now the new survey is up...

Come on people, you need me to tie the vote in favour of reason? :?

Also, why the hell does Firefox dislike my "UK" English spelling so? Vexing.

And the final results for the fall survey:

The Coriolis Effect is:

Fact 38%
Fiction 38%
An Iranian super weapon 17%
I have to pee 5%

For those that don't know what the Coriolis Effect is, in regards to the survey, it was the assertion that water drains in different directions (clockwise vs counter-clockwise) depending on whether you're in the Northern or Southern hemispheres.

Anyhow, the new survey is up. It's the best I could come up with for the winter issue. So sorry...
