After going through the guide to the Camarilla game at least 17 times I still don't know how to play Camarilla style politics. Can some seasoned vets please tell me how you play Vampire Politics?

PS This is Masqurade

Trust no one. Everyone has their own agenda and no one will tell you what it is (and it's always what you don't expect). Everyone is either trying to use you or they're out to get you. If someone is seemingly helping you for no apparent reason, be afraid. Very afraid. Nothing is ever for free.

And most importantly (although this one is true for Vampire in general): No matter how powerful you get, there is always (ALWAYS) someone that is more powerful. And if you step out of line, they're going to let you know. Sometimes they'll let you know anyway, just because they can (well, rather because it suits their agenda, but since you'll never know it it feels like it's just because they can).

So it's all about paranoia and second guessing. Get the players into that mood and you're pretty much there.
