Alright, so, start discussing here, then, as the other is obsolete.

I did make you a mod of this forum, even though your name is not in "lights". You could lock the other topic if you like.

As for discussion...

I'm looking forward to this campaign. I've already been giving thought to my character's development.

My problem with the last campaign was that it took far, far too long. Roughly five years for four levels or so just dragged too much. I think in this one, we need to stick to the minimum one play post per week, per player. If someone is going away for a week or two, we can either agree to a short break, or the DM takes control of that character for a post or two, making just basic, obvious, neutral moves, nothing absurd or wildly out of character.

And yes, Marcus, I'm mostly looking at you.

Hehehe. Marcus is vampire chow!

And not that I'm wildly speculating here but... if getting to know the townies is important, as you indicated in the other thread, then... hmm... OMG! They dragged the whole town into Ravenloft! You bastards!

Thats fine, thats all fine. Of course it has a stable. WOnder if I should make the stable boy a character, though with my luck his stats will be better than yours, like the serving wench. (rolled for the fun of it after I posted that, 11 10 12 12 15 13. He doesnt matter though :p )

You're just obsessed with rolling NPC stats aren't you. Strange fetish.

And good idea, having the orphan Gorth to prop up your character's feeble old bones, Magnus. It's a good thing Marcus is playing a cleric. I foresee Konrad breaking his hip many times on the adventurer's road.

Just chimin' in on this, and yeah, keeping a fast pace is pretty much essential in play-by-post campaigns, I've found out. Running a campaign over the internet like one you'd run in person, is pretty much a death-sentence from the get-go. I've been involved in a few campaigns with friends of mine (all of whom are "experienced" roleplayers), and even though we all knew each other, and worked well together, it took us a good number of floundered campaigns, before we figured out we had to settle for "RPG Lite", if we wanted to play by post. When you're dealing with an asynchronous environment like a forum, it's far too easy to let the game slide - first just for a while ("Got a party this weekend, guys"), then slightly longer ("Yeesh, I'm just swamped with homework"), and then for a month or more ("Damn, can't right now, have to write my thesis"). And that's usually the death knell.

I'll have you know, that Konrad has a perfectly fine score of 10 for his constitution, thank-you-very-much. Those bones might be slow, but Konrad's as fit as a fiddle! :P

Yeah, sort of teamed up for the moment. Dire times makes for strange bed-fellows or however that saying goes.

Sort of a Xzar and Montaron relationship. As long as it's worth my time of course

They both always die really quickly. At least in my BG runs. Not a good sign...

Hey, lads, took the liberty of editing the play posts to highlight the dialogue in red. As we know from the past, it just makes reading play posts and separating information easier. :)
