Hmmm, red is rather hard to read on the dark template. Isn't there a colour that works on both?

Red is simply what we used in the last campaign. No-one complained then so you might want to adjust your monitor settings or get your eyes checked. ;)

Seriously though, any colour will do.

What do you lads think about using #FF00FF? It's the purple in the upper-right corner of the last "square" in the palette.

I'm easy. And from your posts in the mod forum, it is probably the best for both templates.

Forgot about using red. Good idea.

If theres anything you wanted to get, buy, sell, or put away in your room, before the meeting, now would be the time. The actual campaign is about to begin.

How retrievable are crossbow bolts. I'd think they're sturdier than arrows due to their construction. I've got 50 but I'm wondering if I should get more before we get going.

Also, I really wish my character had noticed Marcus' looking at me because, alignment notwithstanding... I really want to punch that prudish cleric in the nose for staring at Josef and Klara. :D

Wouldn't it be common practice to stock up on stuff after you get the assignment?

Just curious. If I expect sea travel, I might get biscuits and a few bottles of rum, if I'm expecting to do mountain climbing I would call in sick (or some such) ;)

Even if we get unexpectedly diverted during the trip, at least some expectation of duration would influence pre-adventure shopping behaviour. Poor Konrads mule can only carry so much. I assumed that one could carry both his stuff and whatever sleeping bag and spare arrows I might bring

I don't have a pack mule. And I'll laugh if we get sucked into Ravenloft and you lot lose your pack mules and gear.

Of course, with the incidents at the docks and Merl rolling stats for everyone I wouldn't be surprised if the whole city gets taken by the Mists.

BTW Merl, that dark red is almost invisible on the dark template.

I edited his red to the FF0000. It's a brighter red that what Merl used but as I said up thread I'm more than happy to use one of the colours you picked. After all, it'd be a shame to let that beautiful multi-coloured test thread of yours be in vain. :)

I wish there was a dynamic "highlight text" function of a sort for each template, where the dark used a bright orange for example, and the light used a darker blue, or something of that sort. Then you'd only have to use one of those bbcode things, like [h] - [/h].

*sigh* If only I were a programmer :(

If you were, I'd hire you. It'd be a ceremonial hiring because I'm poor but it's the thought that counts. Like I said, I'm easy. The bright red works well for me but as soon as we get a consensus on a new colour...

Ok lads, time to agree on a colour for dialogue. Merl just used yellow and Marcus just used italics.

BTW, nice post Marcus. I like it. Your cleric might be stirring up some crap. :)

Personally, I really like yellow. High contrast + visibility makes it great for the dark template. But I'm betting it's absolute shite on the light one :)

As an informal show of hands, how many of us use the dark template? As you've probably gathered, I'm one.

::edit::

And until we agree on a colour, I'll just keep using purple.
