PlaneShift:Upcoming MMORPG with poss. PS:T resemblance

Post by Amorghost » Sat Apr 17, 2004 1:49 pm

http://www.planeshift.it/
This game is a free MMORPG and it bears great resemblance to the Planescape universe.Just look at the style of the buildings, the dusted textures in the screenshots...
Also, the city of Yliakum in Planeshift bears similarities to the city of Sigil in Planescape.

Wow, you weren't joking. It certainly does have a very real similarity to PS:T.

It looks interesting and most certainly must've had some inspirations from PS:T. Mmm, maybe I should give it a try one of these days.

It is free? As in no money involved?

Okay, where's the *catch*?
Requested: One Mark V ECM unit, 1000 km of Fullerene cable, one low-yield nuclear warhead.

Purpose: Surprise party for foreign dignitary.

It's a demo, really, and not the full game. Petor, report back with the details after you've tried it for a while. What's the subscription and such?

Dunno, I'm still downloading. My connections too crap to play it on this computer, so I'll have to burn it and put it on the other computer

dont get too excited its 1 lvl above a tec demo. no combat, npc's are dumb as dirt (if there even around) its basically a show of the engine... we are waiting for the next release which is due any day then it will be more game like..... instead of nothing to do but run in circles and collect crystals.

the reason people go too it... its got promise and will forever remain $0

waiting for the next release for : Windwalker glances at his watch... 1 year, 1 month and a couple of days... must be getting close now.. probally show up in 2 months

Sounds almost too good to be true, even in its current state. Will download when I get home today.
