Question about Luck

Post by Katsujinken » Mon May 10, 2004 6:49 am

Hey, I read from the UPP and JUPP. They say that luck has a significant effect on dice rolls. Like, 1d8 with +1 luck gives rolls of 2-8 instead of 1-8.

My question is will +1 luck prevent the characters from doing critical miss??

He moves to a town called Winterwind where he frequents the taverns, drinking...water...and talking but mostly listening to idle chatter of the locals.

Luck is one of the mysteries of IWD.

It would also be nice if there was a way to find out what your party reputation is? Anyone?

i don't think you have a party reputation in either one

it probably wouldn't have served any purpose if it had been there anyway

Well if you kill the paladin who wants to die in TOTL you lose reputation, so it must be being tracked somewhere.

IWD1 does have a reputation meter, but it's not visible to the player. Ultimately, I don't think it does anything, at least anything significant.
I believe IWD2 did away with reputation all together.
