Most Powerful Vanquished: Support Beam?!?

I know IWD2 was an "uneven" experience from start to end, but man, I miss playing it. I better get a table for my old PC, so I can get it up and running again (that, and BG and the XCom games).

*Sigh*... not that long ago that I finished a game if IWD plus both expansions

I finally found a fix for my gfx problems with BG1 and IWD2. The secret was in the gfx driver, tweaking them to not do anything "accelerated" and then save it as a new profile. Now I just need to switch profile between "Default" and "Old Games" and I can play all the Infinity Games again

I agree, i only play with people i know, and then preferably those are in the room next to me. Too much trouble wading trough the hordes of donkeys and powerplayers. We even had someone join our LAN game twice, both the times some kind of l23 guy with way too many duplicate items trying to fudge up our second chapters.

nope, i have a wizard party, so all i need are scrolls and a martial weapon and a mace for my tanks, and i happened to find better weapons than any store would sell.
Well, until Wandering Village that is, there i bought some +2d6 fire mace for 30ishK.
I believe i have about 50 again now though after selling all the stuff from the temple and the wood. I cant even use up ammunition, potions and spare scrolls with all these spellcasters.

Heh. Thats awesome. I never thought a wizard party would be that strong.

Sounds awesome.

I should install IWD2 again.

powerful isnt exactly the word i'd choose, cheap is better. Especially the first levels will be hard, but by the time you get mirror image for every guy things start getting easier. To be honest, by now it is rather easier, but part of that will prolly be my experience, the other half is something i still hope to meet, apart from a few will o wisps and a few golems theres nothing that is especially good vs magic (or elemental damage), let me remind you that the opening is rather tedious though, especially without the spell 'sleep'.
