A brand column debuts today. Nathan Frederick Garden's mock football column, The Fitba, starts with "Open Season".

I really enjoyed this one, though I half suspect most of the gratuitously daft reasons for postponing matches will become reality somewhere within our lifetimes!

If I followed football I'd have found more enjoyment in this piece. I'm just on the wrong side of the pond.

That said, great to have a new, regular column joining William's. Good show, Nathan. :)

As somebody who has been pursued by a solitary, yet obsessively compulsive territorial bee while helping my little brother erect a garden fence (concrete wall actually) around their property, I can assure people it's no laughing matter. It goes straight for your face :)

As for delays and re-scheduling, I know it's slightly tangential, but it just so reminds me of the entirely farcical bestowing of the World Cup to Qatar and the back pedaling taking place, working on moving the schedule by 6 months.
