Our Guest Mod, Yian (Krazy Kenny forum & FPS game) has written a review on the Warcraft III expansion, the Frozen Throne.

Let me be the first to comment and congratulate Yian on his review. Whilst I haven't played the expansion to WCIII, the review was well written, and as far as I can tell, it was balanced as well. Of course, I haven't submitted it to closer scrutiny yet, so this comment might not be final :twisted:
I do bugger-all, but that's OK;
I sleep all night, and I read all day!

I generally only skim reviews of games I haven't played. Although with yours and Yian's I had to give a quick proof read first. :wink:

Indeed, good stuff.

Since I have the game and I've played it to some extent, I'm familiar with everything he talks about, all the improvements and whatnot, and I agree completely.

But I wonder if anyone who hasn't played was perhaps a bit... put off by all the in-game details, if you can call it that...

It's an expansion review. I think it's fair to assume people who read the review have played the original game so I don't think this is much of an issue.

True enough.

But might I note that the Firelord did not come with the release of The Frozen Throne, but in a patch that came out later :)

Yes Panda thanks for pointing this out...however someone who buys TFT now,will have the latest patch available to him,so I assume it as part of the game.Another change mentioned which is in a patch,is the nerfing down of the Frost Wyrms.Thanks for all the comments!!

edit: btw Panda,do you use the Pandaren Brewmaster? :lol:
also I often play on Bnet almot daily...maybe we could arrange a game?I'm on the eu and us east servers.

Heh, oh indeed, it's probably my favourite unit. Beer and pandas, what more can you ask for? :)

And sure, that sounds like fun! It has been quite a while since I last played, but I certainly won't mind a bit of refreshing. Just don't beat the crap out of me, at least not the first time :wink:
