New Religion - the Gospels of Fish

Post by Joseph » Mon Feb 20, 2006 11:37 pm

As those of you who view the spam forum (Zombie Communist HQ) know, CB and I have been preaching about Fish for some time.

Once, we even had a poll on the old website with the options:

Fish
God
This offends me

Fish won. Even the "This offends me" option got more votes than God. That having been said, CB and I could be in a lot of trouble if there is a God and He/She/It doesn't have a sense of humour.

That having been said, well, Spider, CB and I had a little chat on MSN today. We tried to show Spider the way but Spider is a Fishless heathen.

Let the Wisdom of the Almighty Fish enlighten you and bring love and guppies to your life through His Holy Teachings.

And now that Fish has found its way into Open Discussion, and even unto the very site itself, it an no longer be classified as "spam", as Mattias the Heretic would have it. Praise Fish!
I do bugger-all, but that's OK;

FOR THE Fish EMPEROR!!! :look:
I have no time for flat characters why should I have times for flat people?

Just because Josan abuses his admin position it doesn't make it any less spam.

Two things (in no particular order):

In the initial post, though hard to see, the words "His Holy Teachings" are a link.

http://www.winterwind-productions.com/t ... postle_al/

Second, I'm not really abusing my admin position. If anything, I'm abusing my position as the owner of Winterwind. And, in the eyes of our Lord Fish, spreading His Gospel is hardly abuse. It is love.

EDIT: And a third:

Ralph is one of Fish's greatest prophets. Second only to Saint Al the Apostle. For it was Ralph who revised the Holy Scriptures. He is also currently working on a Swedish translation, just for Spider.

So if I was to move this to the spam forum you wouldn't move it back?

Well, if you want to get technical... While I am the owner, we are co-admins and I consider you my partner at Winterwind but (and there's always a but) even as co-admins, I am one of the "assigned moderators" for the Open Discussion forum so in this instance, I out rank you.

But let us not speak of things such as technicalities and rank. For we are all equal in the eyes of Fish.

You do outrank me. Which is what I mean with abusing your position, because this thread is nothing other than spam.

It is only spam because that is how you choose to view it.

Listen, CB and I are trying to spread love throughout the world. You of all people should appreciate that. Why are you constantly trying to put that down?

Because you don't like the way Sweden smells in August?

All new religious movements meet with this kind of opposition at first. Hell, the Romans used to feed Christians to lions (damn shame they stopped too).

All we are saying is give Fish a chance.

Hmm. Spider has now posted 3 times in OD, and in a thread he considers spam... the Way of Fish is working... it is drawing Spider out of his elitist ways...

I've edited this thread into a poll.

CB and I think our Gospels of Fish is funny.

Spider thinks it's just stupid.

What do you think?

I think this has the potential to turn into a nice rligious war...

Spider is Swedish though... probably more an atheist than a worshipper of anything with scales and fins, so you never know :P

As for me, I question (out of principle) the worship of any cold blooded divinities.

with all my love for Fish(and while i did vote Fish on that poll)and while this is very funny and all, i'd have to go with spider on this

Fish was the ill begotten child of the zombie communism and the sea creatures war, well actually it is the last surviving remnant of the sea creatures, and this is now how the wheel turns in this spam cycle, but nonetheless, that is its place, the spam world
stupidity causes violence
