A great article, Jon, and thanks for contributing. I've often wondered what I'd do in such a situation. I've imagined it but wouldn't want to live it.

A fine article, Jon: looking at the situation in a different light as ever, makes you think.

Sychronicity indeed. I'm sitting on my couch in nothing but gym shorts. It's humid and I have that film that humidity or lack of showering usually bless one with. Thus, I have been inspired to read a new book today. Which makes me a little irritated at my community. The one bookstore we have is a rundown chainstore that keeps a low stock. *shrugs* Good excuse to hope in the auto and travel North 38 miles / 61 kilometers.

Hello Jon. Thanks for taking the time to register on the boards. That was unexpected. We're very happy that you chose to contribute your talents and as I'm sure Michael has already told you, we'd be quite happy to have you do so again.

Really great writing, Jon, on a genuinely thought-provoking topic. And, as above, I too look forward to more of your contributions.
