These past 5 years have been spent on a journey of recovery and acceptance. I began to create my art again. My art became my voice to explain feelings that had no words. It is a way in which I look at myself and how I see myself in the world. My art is my meditation. It makes me feel connected to the universe.

I am a self-taught artist. I work in different mediums. My favourite types of media are acrylics and polymer clay. I am inspired by artists such as H.Bosch, Diego Rivera, and Donna Kato. I am also inspired by nature. I love to work with colour and texture.

(Right - Heart and Soul) "Heart and Soul" was inspired by the use of repetition of the theme, the "heart". It is several vignettes representing the different ways in which we hide away our heart's desire. This piece was bought by Margaret Trudeau, the wife of former Canadian Prime Minister, Pierre Elliott Trudeau.
