Re: Random rant of the day

And Sweden is making a fool out of itself by holding a Americna rapper under arrest....for beating up 2 Afghanian immigrants who harassed, attacked the rapper and crew and sexually assaulted women around Stockholm. Yeah, freedom for people who beat annoying asshats to a bloody pulp. Like, no. Not t...

:S WTF Herring salad in itself sounds pretty horrible.
Why? It's pickled herring with some vegetables, apples and a nice, creamy marinade. :p

Danes have this thing for pickled Herring and Schnaps
Fun fact, in some places (e.g. Poland as far as I know) traditional Herring salad is made with Herring sperm. :haha:

Re: Random rant of the day

Man, GOG has a Disney sale going and the advertise Disney classics like Monkey Island.

Because obviously Monkey Island is a Disney classic. I know it's not their fault and technically Disney is right to advertise as such but holy hell, what bunch of baloney.

When I want my alien fix I'll catch an episode or two of Ancient Aliens. It's so awesome.

Oh, you watch that show, do you?

Tried it. Did nothing for me.
Unfortunately everyone does these days. Hence the dip in quality, I imagine.

Also, I read the books before it was cool. /neckbeard nerd reply

So how'd you like the culmination of 10 years worth of films you haven't seen?

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

A friend and I are going to watch the latest Marvel marvel (pun not completely unintended)... He's quite the super hero fan and I guess I don't have anything better to do on a Wednesday evening this week. I might have to catch up on the previous story bits though, as it seems to be the end of a ser...

Re: Christians Against Slipknot: A Facebook Page

Double post ftw! Weren't you from Austria? How come, as a native German speaker, that there is no Udo Dirkschneider (solo or in his old band, Accept) on that list??? Blasphemy! :eyebrow: I wouldn't consider good old Udo to be growling. He screams at times, sure, but with skill - unlike what... whoe...

Re: Random rant of the day

I got lucky*. My job I had to earn a little money on the side while studying proved to be a stepping stone leading to something I actually enjoy doing (and have studied long and hard for). As a bonus the work life balance is great, the colleagues are nice and it's almost around the block, being only...

Re: The latest movie/tv show you've seen

I loved the first two Star Wars movies, the original "Star Wars" (A new hope) and "The Empire Strikes Back". They lost me at "Return of the Jedi" which was a cluster fudge (in my humble opinion). Oh I enjoyed Return of the Jedi immensely. But that's just me being a space battle nerd, and I really l...
