Faces transplants?

Seriously. Disgusting and creepy in my opinion.

Isn't that what plastic surgery is for?

Seriously, I think it's rather ghoulish.

I die, you get in a fire and suddenly you have my face...

I'm not religious but it's a creepy violation of individuality in my mind.

Whilst I think it's flattering someone would want my face, and I'm all for donating my organs once I'm dead, I think I'll make an exception for my face. Creepy...
I do bugger-all, but that's OK;
I sleep all night, and I read all day!

well, considering the bone structure, i doubt you'd look exactly the same having someone else's face as they did*

and i'm rather sure this falls under the category of plastic surgery

not to say that it isn't creepy

*edit: oh what do you know

The face should take on more of the characteristics of the skeleton of the recipient than the soft tissues of the donor.

this idea sucks

The recipient would have to take powerful anti-rejection drugs for life,

Ya know, if the X-files was still on the air there'd be a spooky episode about this.

there was a similar episode.

A guy would cut off his face after doing shit and leave the skin behind.

Not sure whether to say that would actually be an improvement for both of you or that you'll both be screwed in life.

I can see a number of problems with impersonation. The president dies and it's kept a secret then some puppet gets his face...or Elvis lives on! It's probably gonna be a bit hard for friends and familiy of the deceased to see the face live on as well as the new guy that's gonna have to explain a lot to old friends.

I think some people would be happy to have this pportunity.
The probability of someone watching you is proportional to the stupidity of your action.
