Marvel Heroic Roleplaying

Post by Fluffy17 » Fri Dec 07, 2012 11:21 pm

Has anyone else picked it up or am I the only comic book fan here that's giving this a chance?
I have no time for flat characters why should I have times for flat people?

I haven't. But then I don't know too many gamers outside of the online community. And right now, my finances are making it hard to eat let alone enjoy recreation. When I was younger, we had a tight gaming group, mainly DnD but we also did a bit of Robotech, Rifts, Palladium and yes, some superheros stuff that must have been Marvel because I don't remember any DC characters involved.

Yeah heard about your problems Josan, you'll be in my prayers. As for the other superhero systems they were probably Marvel Superheroes, that's been around forever. If you have heard of Margaret Weiss, who writes the Dragonlance series, she helped write the Marvel Heroic books that came out this year. I might do a review of it as I have Watched (this game's version of a DM) a lot and adore it.

Margaret who? Oh, the woman who co-wrote the Chronicles and Legends that I read over and over again? Oh, and the Death Gate Cycle which I also read over and over again? Never heard of her.

Interesting that she contributed to the Marvel books. I'd wouldn't have expected that.
