Well, it's that time again... time for the yearly dues to be paid to our host. At least this year, it's May 6th again. With what I mentioned in the above post last year, I was half expecting them to move the billing date up another month.

Anyhow... time to hit the Paypal button folks. Support our lovely site. :)

And thank you Jan. And you too Gorth.

At this rate, we may finally be able to buy that island we've always wanted where we can live on sun-soaked beaches eating bananas and mangoes and coconuts just like Gilligan's Island. But seriously lads, thanks for keeping us going.

It's spring again. Which means it's time to pay the piper again.

And that means it's time to thank Gorth for his donation this year. Thank you, Gorth. It's very much appreciated.

And that's very much appreciated.

And another "Thank You" goes out to Merlance, who just made his first donation yesterday. Thanks, Merl.

And the above two sentences both started with "and". This one makes three. Who says you can't start a sentence with "and"? I like doing it.

Well, it's that time of year again. Just got the invoice from our host.

Since our ad revenue hasn't hit its payment threshold yet... although Gavin now has server access so hopefully the redesign is soon... Who wants to be cool and click the big shiny PayPal button? ;)

Thank you, sir.

And for those of you not privy to our little staff/team emails, yours truly realised last night that I've been an idiot for the past seven years with our host.

Our donations arrive in US funds (with a fee on all donations we receive). I convert them to Canadian (another PayPal fee), transfer them to my bank account (another PayPal fee) then transfer them to my Visa and then pay the hosting invoice, which is in US funds (so a fee from my bank for a US transaction) and last night, much to my face-palming dismay I realised that all these years, our host accepts payments from PayPal so I've been paying all those damned fees for nothing because I could have just paid straight from PayPal.
