hmm it might've been an idea reading this before replying to the post on the general forum, but anyway.

The setting sounds pretty interesting, though there's still lots work to do, i did get an idea of playing something nice in this world, a mate of mine once played a sort of dwarven inventor who came from a somewhat technologically advanced clan of dwarves, not only was it a great inventor of all kinds of weapons and useful objects (he once made a sort of fireman hose, which we filled with acid and holy water during the days) he's also a materialist in his views towards the world, because his own clan is so technologically advanced, so he kind of thinks about magicians like they're tricksters. In your setting i'd view him as a lithian, because of their relation to science.

I do have to ask some q's though, although i'd like the idea of an online rpg i'm wondering how many time you wish to spend on it when a group is formed and how many you want to have playing at the same time or just in a replying way when everyone visits (which does result in a very slow pace)? cause if it'll cost me too much time i fear i won't be in...

I'll try and make a character of it if you agree about the concept and it really seems like something will get started here.

well i expect everyone involved will post when they can which will leave us with a nice slow paced adventure

i wouldn't mind seeing a character from you at this point but i think it's a bit ahead of time

morals and politics - people have lost the concept of a generally accepted set of moral codes but there isn't much crime even by our* concept of it. most (or actually all to be correct) crime is considered to be not paying your debt, in fact the system takes certain elements of crime and transforms then into debt. as an example, property crime is basically impossible due to everyone having an account that they can be charged by even if they choose to not use it, because what in fact happens is that if you steal something or damage someones property you get charged with it in your account.

*what is considered crime in average western society today

Such a shame this never got off the ground I have developed an interest in gaming again now that I have legitimate dice
I have no time for flat characters why should I have times for flat people?

Well, if you can commit to it, join the rpg we've got going. We're checking once a day, posting probably 4-5 times a week.

It took you a month to reply to a post in a resurrected thread?

Since we haven't had the opportunity to do any real admin/mod stuff in ages... and even though I know you didn't resurrect this thread two things are about to happen:

1) Locked until such time as Ewen himself is resurrected at Winterwind!

2) Marcus - Warning 1/3 for... well, for the hell of it!

Locked
