Vildhjarta

Heya

A game from a Swedish system or well its more of a part of a bigger campaign with a minor mission before it. We could try it out if you people like to. I although prolly have to make your characters and I do not really know how to translate everything. Might be bit complicated.

Probably not going to fly. Best chance would be to stick to rules that are easily accessible to everyone.

Last I heard it's free and all readily available online. Who knows? You might even find links to it in dousi's rpg reference thread. Oh yeah, I forgot. You never read it. *insert appropriate smiley here*

And one more for good measure...

Oh I know it is easy to find online. I although prefer to also own it on physical shape for ease of use! I am old minded in that manner :P I like to be able to touch the things I own :)

I also ponder on a system of my own to toss into my own setting

With

Skill die
Situational die

lets say you have skill 14 in Lock picking. You roll 19. That gives you - 2 on your situational roll. The base is 10 but you are stressed which gives you another - 2 and you got - 2 from your talent using lock picks. You roll to get under 6, you roll a 4 and you manage to handle the situation even under stress!

I could go with dungeons and dragons although and toss a minor campaign in a small colony/village of the western parts of the main island in my home made setting!

Thing is, magic is kind of unknown by humans and shunned by elfs. Only witch elf use it and they are parts of a obscure cult and if not, they are hunted by said witch cult. The largest dwarf faction is enemies of the human too.

I saw this and I thought to myself; "The djent metal band?"
His twisted mind concluded that if he was what he ate, and he wanted to stay human...
