You rest. You level up. What are you going to do next?

Before we can really do anything...

How long did we rest? Does Ara have his spells? What are the party's HP at? (Three of us were wounded.) What time of day is it?

Also, last Thursday Gorth said:

I'm not sure if he meant the week we're in now (since four days noticed isn't "way in advance") or next week but either way, you'll need to run his character while he's gone.

Priests can only get their spells once per day. You cant wake up at 6am, cast all your spells, sleep eight hours, get up at 2pm and cast em all again. Ara gets his spells back the next morning, which is what I had assumed you guys were doing. Everyone gets 4 hp back. I can run Gorth if needed.

We know how often spellcasters get their spells. Which is why I asked for clarification on how long you had us rest and what time it is now.

You still haven't answered that but since you said everyone gets 4hp back I'm assuming we rested through the rest of the day and the night. So... Take Two... Exactly how long did we rest and what time is it?

In the future it would be extremely helpful if you simply told us straight up exactly how long we rest for, what time it is when we're done resting, posted current party HP, etc. Saves asking and waiting for an answer.

Its 6am the next day. Ara is back to full. Kurt is back tofull hit points. It is 6am, and Ara regains all his spells.

Ok, back again after a turbulent flight and a bumpy landing

I see I'm still alive. I'll catch up on stuff later today :)

Aside from z7 dying nothing changed in the picture.

And dont be worried about the zombies getting smarter. They arent going to start using aid another, but its just the closest I can get to a horde of zombies all rushing forward pushing into each other trying to get through the door.

I'm sure I've asked you before, Gorth, but can't recall so have you read the old DragonLance Chronicles? Pretty much everyone in the party wanted to kill Raistlin. You're our party's Raistlin. :D

Heh, nice to feel appreciated

Edit: Yes, I read most of the published Dragonlance paperback books. Stopped reading around Dragons of Summer Flame, as it started getting truly silly. Chronicles and Legends made for great reading back then.

Edit2: I might have mentioned in passing, Knight of the Black rose was my only ever run in with Ravenloft. Not a very good book and the background made no sense at the time.

Edit3 (not really), updated my character sheet, still sticking a wet finger in the air and assuming one arrow lost for every two misses on average and one lost for every hit.

I've read the Chronicles and Legends a few times. Didn't really care for the DL books not by Weiss and Hickman. Some were ok but most were pretty weak in my view. I read Summer Flame. It was... alright. And I read their other trilogy, War of the Souls (I think that was the name). Pretty much all the companions are dead by then except Goldmoon. I think they've written another trilogy, about the untold stories that took place during the Chronicles (Recovering the Dragon Orb at Icewall, Raistlin's escape from the sinking ship, donning the black robes, etc) but I haven't read it.

Knight of the Black Rose was not good. Nor was that sequel, Spectre of the Black Rose.

The only good Ravenloft books I read were I, Strahd and the sequel, I, Strahd: The War with Azalin.

Just double checking, did Z5 go down (I don't think it said so explicitly)?

Yeah, Merl sometimes misses things like that. ;)

I'd say it's down though. We did enough damage.

Hey Merl, just wondering how things are going with you. You were pretty quick with posts previously but for the last little while you've been going a few days between DM posts.
