American - citizen or not - who speaks out against the Iraq war or any part of the "war on terror." Hell, one could be detained even if they vocally called Bush a heartless imbecile!

The irony is that the Senate and the House has given Bush the right to detain any one of the representatives of Congress who speak out against the war in Iraq and/or on terror.

Good job, guys! Obviously having foresight and intelligence isn't a prerequisite of being a Congress person or Senator.

Very encouraging, indeed.

So, what does the title of this commentary have to do with the destruction of the American Constitution, you may ask?

Everything, actually.

You see, there's a mid-term election coming up in November and the common hope of the people (65% of us, anyway) is that through this election the Democrats can retake power in the House and start repairing what the Republicans destroyed.

There's just one big problem with that (well, there's another, and that's my disdain for a two party system, but that's for another article): We'll be using electronic voting devices that are very easy to tamper with.

Read this report on HOW easy it is to tamper with election results using these "modern miracles of science".

Go ahead, read it.

When you're done, just imagine what is going to happen if a Democrat should win in a district and a staunch, ethically questionable neocon is in charge of turning in the memory card that has the votes.

Hmm, would that person be compelled to tamper with the card, replacing the Democratic winner with the Republican incumbent, never worrying that he would be caught since there is no evidence to prove that there was any tampering?

Evidence-proof tampering =

BRILLIANT!

Despite my obvious disgustedness (is that even a word?), I'm still compelled to encourage my fellow AmeriKans to get out and vote.

Who knows; maybe there is a chance that this election will not be raped by the neo-con (funny irony is that neocon was actually started by movements based in Liberalism, Democratic and socialist agendas - my how times have changed) fascists and that the person who actually wins the elections will not be the product of tampered election machines.

Then again, this could be the catalyst that fuels another American Revolution; one where the common people rise up and overthrow a corrupt, fascist regime, organized by like minded generals who see this administration as a self-serving, imperialistic, corrupt theocracy.

Then again, maybe this could be a catalyst for me to move my family out of this false Democracy and get as far away from the Madness of King George as possible.

I hope it doesn't come down to either option, but rest assured, come 2008 and we get another Bush-minded neo-con in the White House, I'm applying for jobs overseas.

I've just about had it - just about.
