The Future of Winterwind

After careful consideration over the holiday season, and despite my peppy, perky, positive posted announcement on our 10th anniversary last month, I’ve decided to place the site on an indefinite hiatus. Quite honestly, while I appreciate, and am very grateful for, our contributing guest and regular writers (there’s some fantastic talent there), a couple people on the Winterwind team… Well, when something stops being fun you stop doing it.
This is a labour of love and I don’t have the time or inclination to deal with drama and egos. So, I’m stepping away. There are other projects and paths I intend to explore and enjoy. I’m quite proud of what Winterwind has accomplished over the years and the site will remain online and the forums open but there’ll be no new site content for the foreseeable future. And on that day down the road when Winterwind returns (and it will return, I’ve no doubt) it’ll be sans baggage.
